Ongoing oppression against muslim minoriies in Xinjiang, mainly Uyghur & Kazakhs

China is relocating Uighurs and other Muslim minorities to urban areas as part of a contentious labor program. The Times obtained rare footage taken inside one.




The goal of China’s so-called re-education camps in the region of Xinjiang is to assimilate long-marginalized Muslim minorities, mostly Uighurs and Kazakhs, into Han Chinese culture.
The government says the centers have expanded development and helped prevent terrorism.
But the internee records reviewed by VICE News reveal that the vast majority of people sent to the camps were detained for mundane and legal behavior,
including wearing a hijab, having “thick beards,” visiting a foreign website, applying for a passport, traveling abroad to a “sensitive country” or having family members living in one, or being part of a “religious family.”

And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah .
Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.
And whoever avenges himself after having been wronged - those have not upon them any cause [for blame].

[All of] whom oppressed within the lands And increased therein the corruption.
So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. Indeed, your Lord is in observation. Al Fajr 1-14

For those who persevere in doing good there is the ultimate good in store, and more [than that].
No darkness and no ignominy will overshadow their faces [on Resurrection Day]:It is they who are destined for paradise, therein to abide.
But as for those who have done evil deeds - the recompense of an evil deed shall be the like thereof;
and - since they will have none to defend them against Allah - ignominy will overshadow them as though their faces were veiled by the night's own darkness:
it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide. Yunus 26-27

Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
Be on your guard against committing oppression, for oppression is a darkness on the Day of Resurrection,
and be on your guard against stinginess for stinginess destroyed those who were before you,
as it incited them to shed blood and make lawful what was unlawful for them. Sahih Muslim

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) sent Mu`adh to Yemen and said,
"Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no barrier between his supplication and Allah." Sahih al Bukhari

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar : Allah's Apostle said,
"A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor.
Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs;
whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection,
and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection." Sahih al Bukhari

O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything.
O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me,
and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it.
O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him finds good praise Allah and let him who finds other that blame no one but himself.

"It seems Chinese authorities see Uyghur and other muslim minorities in Xinjiang as potential separatists or terrorists. So if you go to Xinjiang, it's like somewhere in the middle of civil war.
There are checkpoints everywhere, armed police, military. It is difficult to report there because you will be followed by state security agents that basically intimidate you and anybody you speak to..."

Adelaide student Adam Turan’s 80-year-old father, Abdulkerim Turan, lived in a village near Kashgar and spent a year in one of those camps.
He passed away a few weeks ago, shortly after being released from detention.
Mr Turan, who is also general secretary of the East Turkestan Australian Association, said he believes his father was rounded up because he was a Muslim who had a beard and a relative who lived overseas.
He has chosen to speak out because his mother is also missing and presumed to be incarcerated.
“They killed my dad, so it’s no point to be quiet,” he told ABC News.
Mr Turan showed two photographs of his father, taken a year apart.
The second one was taken after his release from detention and show his father with his long beard trimmed, dressed in pyjamas and looking frail.
“He was deprived from food, deprived from sleeping... he was so weak,” he said. “I can’t imagine how he spent over a year under that condition.”

Disney is facing heavy criticism, and the phrase “boycott Mulan” has been trending on Twitter after it emerged that they filmed in Xinjiang.
This comes after Disney thanked several Chinese government branches involved in the persecution of Muslim Uyghurs in the end credits of the live-action movie Mulan.
This includes a thank you to the Turpan Public Security Bureau in Xinjiang.
The Turpan Municipality Public Security Bureau was recently included on the US "Entity List" for its involvement in human rights abuses.
The call to boycott Mulan has extended to boycott Disney altogether.

In Xinjiang, people are being forced to take medication they don't even know what it is, being forced to go to locations where CCP officials can monitor them while they take the medication.

powerful muslim nations will not step up thats a fact! The oppressions going on with Rohingas is far worse than whats happening with Ugurs. Not that it is a contest of who has it worse.

For both the group there was no resistance form the muslim world. Not that is is any surprising, 50 years ago on this day Pakistan went on a genocide spree like a maniac. No muslim country bat an eye then so to expect them to bat an eye now would be preposterous.

He is also one of the leaders claiming Israel has right to defend itself against Hamas' rockets, yet Israel started this by attacking muslims in Al-Aqsa in Ramadan. How can anyone not react to that?
