Stay away from qaza haircut.

Qaza haircut is a style which the parts of hair is shaven or cut, and leaving another part. This is common in society especially among younger people.

Qaza haircut is forbidden according to ahadith

Hadith

Narrated (Abdullah) bin `Umar:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade Al-Qaza' (leaving a tuft of hair here and there after shaving one's head.)

Sahih al-Bukhari 5921
In-book : Book 77, Hadith 136

Hadith

‏ ‏‏

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that :

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has forbidden me from Al-Qaza' (to shave part of the head and leave part)."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5050

It is not surprising that it is also adopted by the kafirs. We come across celebrities, footballers having qaza haircut etc.

Hadith

‏ ‏‏

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who copies any people is one of them.

So what is the correct and allowed haircut?

According to the scholars, the hair being cut should be all in same length.

This is good to know. I wasn't aware tbh.

It is a popular trend amongst non muslims. Traditionally speaking i haven't seen this trend in the older Muslim generation either they shave completely or they don't.

A head full of hair is good Alhamdulillah. Keeps you warm!!
