Hiiii.Salam Alaikum : )

We are on the 6th day of Ramadan. Almost 1/3 of it is gone. Even though its not a month of feast and parties im sure many are enjoying family gatherings for iftar with lots of delicious food and elhamdulillah may Allah increase them with it.
But as there is a lesson to be learned in the hunger and thirst we feel during the fasting days, there is a lesson to be learned in the joy we experince breaking it with our families.

Dont forget your brothers and sisters who made a hard choice none of you ever had to make. Who changed their lives completely and lost their parents and their sinblings despite them being alive. Who choose islam knowing there would be tests and hardships and now they have to face another test, loneliness.

When you sit down with your family think how would you feel if you were all alone. Thats what they are going through right now. For me its the 10th year as a muslim and i always ate iftar and suhur alone, and though i am totally used to it elhamdulillah, there are others who would feel very hurt, especially the sisters. Even those who have masjids nearby and usually visit them, this year they cant go again because of lockdown.

It hurts a lot seeing pics of happy families in iftar gatherings, while you are there sitting alone in the table making duaa that one day you have too what they have.

Well to not make this very long, if you know a convert please make them happy.A nice reminder msg,a call etc, or invite them in your iftar gatherings if you can, it would mean the world to them.Anything you can to make them feel they are not alone.

"The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger.... " (Part of a long hadith)
