*** Hadeeth of the Night ***

[Zaheer A Khan]

Bismillaah:

Aishah رضي اللّه عنه said:

"When the Messenger of Allaah صلي الله عليه وسلم saw something he liked, he would say:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ

'' Al hamdulillahil ladhi bi ni'matihi tatimmus salihat"

[ All Praise is to Allaah by Whose grace good deeds are completed ]

And if he saw something that he disliked, he would say:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

"Al hamdulillahi 'ala kulli hal."

[ All Praise is to Allaah in all circumstances ]

Takhreej:

{ Imam Ibn Majah in his Sunnan #3803, Ibn us Sunni in Layl #380 and it's chain is Saheeh according to Imam al Hakim and Al Busaayri رحمهم الله }
