Bismillaah:

The Saheeh Sunnah indicates that there is a time on Friday when du’aa’s may be answered.

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said:

"There is such an hour on Friday, that if any Muslim makes Du’a during it, his Du’a will be accepted."

Takhreej:

{ Imam Al Bukhari and Muslim in their Saheeh }

Another report:

Jaabir رضي الله عنه said:

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said:

“Friday is comprised of twelve hours. There is one in which a Muslim who asks Allaah for something will have it granted to him. Seek it in the last hour after `Asr.”

Takhreej:

{ Imam Al Hakim in his Mustadrak with a Saheeh chain }

Another report:

Salamah ibn Abdur Rahman رحمه الله said:

Some of the companions of the Messenger of Allaah صلي الله عليه وسلم gathered and spoke of the (special) hour on Friday, then they parted and did not disagree that it is the last hour on Friday.

Takhreej:

{ Imam Sa'eed ibn Mansoor in his Sunnan and Al Haafiz ibn Hajr said its chain is saheeh in al Fath, 2/489 }.
