The Sheathless Sword), to revive emaan and become a true Muslim. And it should also be read by non-Muslims to understand the real picture of Islam. Khalid Bin Walid never lost a war in his career and was considered an intellectual.
This book discusses on how such a great personality became Muslim and fought for Islam. Khalid Bin Walid (رضي الله عنهم) was staunch enemy of Islam and Prophet Mohammed (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) before he reverted to Islam. He conspired to kill Prophet Mohammed (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) many times, before he accepted Islam. And later played a crucial role in spreading Islam across the World.
I am listening to each sentence and translating this book. The main purpose to implement these qualities in me and inshaAllah share them with the ummah so that we all can transform our lives and lead a life of true Muslims who were well known to be the best people on earth in terms of manners and spreading peace across the World.

Foreword - The Sheathless Sword (Shamsheer Be Niyaam)
Khalid Bin Walid was a sword of Islam that was always sheathless against enemies. Prophet Mohammed (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) gave the title of “The Sword of Allah” to Khalid Bin Walid. He was one of the foremost commanders of Islam, which spread the light of Islam from Madina to far away places.
Not only the history of Islam but the history of the World remembers Khalid Bin Walid as one of the best commanders. The experts in warfare, even today acknowledge his warfare skills, leadership in war, and understanding of military management.
On every battlefield, the number of Muslims was less. And the enemy was always more in numbers by 2,3 or even 6 folds. And in the Battle of Yarmuk, the army of Rome and its supporters was 1,60,000. Whereas the army of Muslims was around 40,000
The frontline of the enemies was about 12 miles and there was no gap in between. Compared to that, by seeing the frontline of enemies, Muslims have spread their frontline to 11 miles. And there was a lot of gap between the troops of Muslims.
The depth of the frontline of enemies was much deeper, there were troops behind each other. Like rocks standing behind rocks. Comparatively, there was no depth in the frontlines of Muslims. History is shocked, the experts of warfare are shocked, at how the Muslims defeated the Romans in the Battle of Yarmuk.
The defeat of the Romans in this battle was final. After this, Jerusalem fell into the hands of Muslims like ripe fruit. This was the excellence of warfare skills of Khalid Bin Walid.
The warfare skills exhibited by Khalid Bin Walid in the Battle Of Yarmuk, are used in the training of developed countries military forces. Khalid Bin Walid (رضي الله عنهم) never accepted that the number of enemies is more or their weapons are better. And Muslims are very few. Hence, it would be dangerous to face the enemy.
There were some situations, where Khalid Bin Walid ignored the commands of Khalifa and attacked the enemies and gained victory. This was a miracle of his strong emaan and determination. This was beauty of love of Islam and Prophet Mohammed (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ).
We can see the greatness of Khalid Bin Walid character from this incident. Khalifa of Muslims Umar Bin Khattab (رضي الله عنهم) terminated him from the position of commander. Then Khalid didn’t become disappointed, but he fought like a normal soldier.
After the Battle of Yarmuk, Umar (رضي الله عنهم) called Khalid to Medina because of one allegation. An investigation was done and according to the tradition of arab, Khalid was dealt with in such a way that it was insulting for a person who was commander of the army. But the reaction of Khalid was that it didn't disappoint Umar (رضي الله عنهم). He accepted the punishment.
Khalid Bin Walid was saddened by his termination as commander. But he didn’t try to overthrow the throne of Khalifa Umar (رضي الله عنهم). He didn’t create his own political party. Nor established his own troops. If Khalid did any of these things, then the complete army would have supported him. He was the most respectable and loved by his people. He destroyed the superpowers of that time and defeated them. One of them was Iran who prayed to fire, and the second was Romans.
Khalid defeated Iran and Syria and brought them into the fold of Islam. But he didn’t say a word against khalifa. He ignored his importance and preferred to give importance to Khalifatul Muslimeen.
Who was Khalid (رضي الله عنهم) and what he gave to Islam, and what inheritance he has given to todays Muslims. You will read all these in this book, The Sheathless Sword which is in two parts.
Lot of injustice has been done with history of Islam. Various historians have distorted the incidents which are related to Islam. One incident has been written with different variations. Some incidents were so distorted that they have been narrated in the wrong way because of prejudice and sectarian differences.
By prejudice don’t think that it was done by non-muslim historians, this prejudice is found even in Muslim historians. We have taken help from many books to present the incidents in the correct way by doing research. And written every incident after verification.
There were situations where it was difficult for us to decide what is true and what is fake. We decided after doing research of what could be true. We know people will differ from us, but their differences will be in small and unimportant incidents.
The way we have written these courageous stories, it is called a historical novel. But this is not such a novel that has fairy tales and filmy stories. This is more of history and not a novel. We have presented Khalid Bin Walid (رضي الله عنهم) and his generals as normal human beings. We have not shown them as people who descended from the skies.
We didn’t show any miracles, like they had just echoed the slogans and the enemies ran away without seeing their backs. It’s needless to say that this book should be present in every household. This book is a collection of our stories. Today, when the books of amusement and characterlessness have diverted the Muslims from the main track. This book, which is being presented in the name of The Sheathless Sword, should be taught to your children. This book has all the interesting characteristics of a good story and this the our history of Islam. And these are our traditions. And this is the real face of Islamic military forces.
