Wa alaikum assalam,
I sincerely apologize for not replying you.
What I was trying to say with regards to seeing future in my dream, this was a hypothetical question which I really need to address this to Allah. Because, I really don’t know if I’m going to live at that time when the wind will come and take every believer in one night across the world or no, and this really frightens me. And I found out that my mom told me that since I was born with mild Asperger, it is completely normal for you to have insecurities. And that’s why I really want to ask Allah if I truly have Iman or no, because I don’t want to be among munafiqun as what Surah Al Munafiqun describes them. Because, I really find it very frightening, and I for me to cure my insecurity, I am really forced to ask Allah this question about whether or not I have truly Iman. Because, I really do not know if I truly believe in Muhammad as Messenger of God or not, and the main reason for that is because I really don’t want to lie in front of Allah as I’m fully aware that He is All Seeing and All Hearer, and nothing can be hidden from Allah.
And before that I was telling to my mom who is a Christian about what kind of belief I’m talking about and she asked me about this, and I told her that for example I truly trust whatever Prophet Moses said, and she also told me that you don’t have to trust only Moses because God will send new Prophets and Messengers after Moses.
But I looked up in Google about the meanings of Iman and definitions for it, it was found that among the meanings for having Iman is basically to fully trust a specific person.
For an example, I have full trust in what the President of USA says. This is actually called Iman.
But when I found out about the meanings and definitions for having Iman, then I found relief about myself, because it made me realize that I truly have Iman in Allah and His Last Prophet and Final Messenger, and what is the cause of having Iman, is cause that when I read some authentic hadiths from him among those who commit Apostasy and died upon it, then their residence is Hellfire and with regards to those who died while reciting Kalimah at their time of death, they will be granted key to Paradise, and I also have Iman with regards to Unseen matters.
Is this correct meaning for “having Iman”?
