Assalamu Alaikum, my name is Souad and I am the founder of Arabic Matters. I was born and raised in Morocco and settled in the UK over a decade ago. I have a Master's degree in Media Studies. I am also a trained teacher with a 13 years’ experience, currently enjoying my life as a homeschooling mompreneur.
One of my main objectives for taking up the task to homeschool my children is to instil the love of this beautiful language in their hearts and allow them the time and opportunity they need to practice it in their everyday life by my side.
As we embarked on this journey, I noticed the lack of Arabic educational resources that are engaging, practical and interactive enough to appeal to young learners. And this is how Arabic Matters came to be. I created this space to put my knowledge of Arabic, my home-schooling experience and my designing skills into good use and hopefully benefit as many families as possible.
