The Muslim is obligated to follow whatever Allah and His Messenger have ordered and he should believe fully that the Revelation is only the truth even if no one follows it.

Falsehoods are being seen as truth while the Truth is seen as falsehood. If the Muslim tried to follow the pure teachings of Islam that is without influence of kufirs and Satanic theologies such as secularism, liberalism and feminisms, he would be labelled as extremist, backward and terrorist.

The true scholars are being blamed and slandered as extremists without any knowledge by media while the celebrities and deviant liars are seen as scholars of Islam.

It does not matter what they say and how everything have changed, Islam is same and will be always same as it was revealed to Prophet peace be upon him until Day of Judgment. So anyone who believes that Islam must be changed to fit the modern time is following Shaytan.

Allah says:

And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allāh. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but misjudging. (Surah 6:116)

And never will the Jews and the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allāh is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allāh no protector or helper. (Surah 2:120)

The Muslim should not be ashamed of following the Qur’an and Sunnah with understanding of Salaf (pious predecessors). He shouldn’t be concerned with what the people follow, because they are not his role model but his role model must be Prophet peace be upon him.

Anyone who reads the Seerah will know that when Prophet peace be upon him started his message, he knew that he was following the Truth even though he was among the minority, so therefore he did not feel ashamed of spreading it, he had warned against the evils that the Arabs saw as normal, which offended them but that did not change him even a little. So how could we feel ashamed and emotional? This is not Islam.

Allah has ordered us to follow His revelation as He has revealed it

Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember. (Surah 7:3)

And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous. (Surah 6:153)

There is a hadith about Salman al-Farsi may Allah be pleased with him and a group of kafirs which if one reflects, they will realise that he was not ashamed of whatever Prophet peace be upon him taught, in fact he was proud of it.

Salman said that one of the idolaters said to him, while they were making fun of him:

"I see that your companion (the Prophet) is teaching you everything, even how to relieve yourselves?" He said: "Yes indeed. He has ordered us not to face the Qiblah (prayer direction) nor to clean ourselves with our right hands, and not to be content with anything less than three stones, which are not to include any excrement or bones." (Ibn Majah 316, Sahih by Darussalam)

May Allah keep us steadfast and increase our faith.
