Yes would urge people to listen to the Shaykhs bayans - they are top mashallah and if anyone ever goes to Makkah the Shaykh sits near the Babul Umrah exit on the mataf and does dars after Fajr in Arabic and after Magrib in Urdu!

Mashallah, i'm glad you posted that. Jazakallah khair for the info:brother: If anyone else can post info like this, as to where you can find people doing lectures in mosques, that would be great.

p.s. this might be a silly question, but will they mind if a stranger likes me just appraoches to the lecture???

Oh I meant that someone like me. Because I thought you have to be a student of his or something like that to listen to his lectures. Thanks bro Ahmed and Zak for providing them links. I never heared the name Shaikh Makki Hijazi, and even though I don't understand urdu, i'll hold on to them; might have the opportunity of having my friend translate for me:brother:

You can see a video of the shaykh here. The video was from 1997, he looks really young for a 57 year old!

Some more of his lectures can be found here.

Assalam-O-Alekum,

I am wondering if anyone knows the qari name that reading Surah Najam in Seerat-e-Nabi CD# 11 of 40 at 24:32.

Actually there are several instance of this qari through out the dars.

Please let me know if any one knows this Qari name.
