And so I walk this world lost,
My toes numb from the frost.
I don’t know the colour of Islam,
For it has been tinted like the skin of a lamb.

:sl: warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

I watched the news and it’s the same things, people causing havoc and ‘standing’ up for Islam. I wonder if we realise the numerous verses on patience. I wonder if the same attention is paid to our own flaws. I wonder whether if I cried in remorse of the ummah’s flaws if my tears would mount to that of the sea. I wonder if people have taken this verse into account when they waltz outside and make a display of their anger Say (O Muhammad): "O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. (3:26)

Ya rabb, have mercy upon those in the Ummah. Guide your slaves to the straight path and unite us in one banner. Make us steadfast in our faith. Forgive us for the sins we commit knowingly and unknowingly. Do not make us amongst those you humiliate. Don’t make us amongst those who wake up in the morning as disbelievers after having gone to sleep as believers. Oh the lord of the heavens, the earth and that which is between give us patience. Make us amongst those who are well versed in our deen.

Oh ya Allah, Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem, Al-Malik, Al-Quddus, As-Salam, the one with all beautiful names give the youth the strength to become like the companions of the prophet (peace and blessing be upon him). Shower your passion upon those who are fragile and old. Cleanse all our hearts from the disease planted by the shaytan. Make us pure, from those who are sinless to those who the angel of death waits to take their soul in the next second with uncountable sins.

And when our time comes, don’t let death take us in the state of sin O merciful one.

Protect us Ya Allah, guide us Ya Allah, and forgive us Ya Allah.
You’re my witness to what lies in my heart, you’re the witness of what our intentions are so accept our prayers. Don’t deprive us from accepting our repentance and don’t make us like those who are arrogant and ungrateful.

Eyakana3bu wa eyaka-nasta3een. You (alone) we worship and you (alone) we ask for help.

Ameen
