Greetings, my little friends.

As you probably are aware When the Christians spread through Europe they had the task of supplanting the religious regimins already in place there, i.e. what are now erroneously referred to as Pagan Sects. That said, it is well known that many of the Christian holy days fall upon the pld Pagan holy days and some of the high Christian days such as Easter still retain the old rituals from the other religions. it is well known that Christianity was a hard-sell due to the old religions being deeply accepted for so long.

Was it also necessary for the powers that be to do this for Islam?

Thanks in advance.
