Those pictures are amazing. And me being so unobservant, I posted another thread in the Islamic Events section. (Sorry mods). Anyway, our protest in toronto was today but it's strictly a safe PEACE-protest. This means no burning of flags and such I guess. I'm proud of our torontian muslim brothers and sisters because they really know how to stick with the plan so inshallah we wont see any charred danish flags on the streets.

^^okay that's an example of what people should NOT be saying. I'm guessing their rally wasn't a peaceful one. I hope you're not implying that all muslims are thinking that.

I am implying 2 things:
1. An awful lot of Muslims
do think that, even if they don't admit it.
2. The ones that don't think that aren't doing nearly enough to contradict those who do.

I would say that my number o1 point above is undeniable. It would be foolish to try.
I'm still waiting for any meaningful criticism of those who are openly advocating violence. Until I see it, number 2 stands also.

it could very well be an oversight on part of sister, I almost did that many times while watching who is online, and clicking a link someone may be reading and reply without looking at dates
that is HOW I got to this thread now thinking that "Massive Worldwide Protests" referred to current situation
(btw. as soon someone makes a lil mistake the usual gang of stalkers descend on thread like hyenas to a rotting carcass)

True. But they are still the minority, since there are even more who
don't.

And you whining about it on an Internet forum is doing what exactly to solve the problem? Ego-stroking? Getting some sort of pleasure from raining on people's parade? Pumping yourself full of virtual Dutch courage to throw bacon at a mosque? What?
Anyway, all threads in this section are subject to closure after three days. I don't see this topic (started in 2006!) going anywhere. It started off nice and constructive, then the vultures attacked and it's limped on ever since. I'm closing it.
