Conditions to accept your doa'a (والدعاء له شروط وآداب)

الدعاء له شروط وآداب، فمن شروطه :
1- التوبة وتطهير الباطن : فقد قيل للحسن : ما لنا ندعو الله فلا يستجيب لنا ؟ فقال : " دعاكم فلم تستجيبوا له ".

2- حضور القلب: فالله عز وجل لا يقبل دعاء من قلب لاهٍ. وقد قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه: "إني لا أحمل هم الإجابة ولكن أحمل هم الدعاء".

3- الافتقار وإظهار المذلة بين يدي الله .

4- العزم في الدعاء: حيث يقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا يقولن أحدكم اللهم اغفر لي إن شئت، اللهم ارحمني إن شئت، ليعزم المسألة فإنه لا مكره له" .

5- عدم الاستعجال، فقد قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن الله يستجيب لأحدكم ما لم يعجل، يقول دعوت ربي فلم يستجب لي".

6- عدم الدعاء بشر: فقد قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: "ما من مسلم يدعو الله بدعوة إلا آتاه الله إياها أو صرف عنه من السوء مثلها، ما لم يدع بإثم أو قطيعة رحم". وأذكر في هذا السياق قول ابن عطاء الله: "لا يكن تأخر أمر الإجابة مع الإلحاح في الدعاء من موجبات يأسك، فإنه يستجيب لك في الوقت الذي يريد، لا في الوقت الذي تريد، وبالشكل الذي يريد، لا بالشكل الذي تريد".

7- طلب الحلال: للحديث الذي ذكرته في أول كلامين ولقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن الله تعالى طيب لا يقبل إلا طيبًا، وإن الله تعالى أمر المؤمنين بما أمر به المرسلين فقال: {يا أيها الرسل كلوا من الطيبات واعملوا صالحًا}، وقال تعالى: {يا أيها الذين آمنوا كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم}، ثم ذكر صلى الله عليه وسلم الرجل يطيل السفر أشعث أغبر يمد يديه إلى السماء، ويقول: يا رب، ومطعمه حرام ومشربه من حرام وملبسه من حرام وغُذي بالحرام، فأنى يستجاب له".

ومن آداب الدعاء :
1- استقبال القبلة ورفع اليدين عند الدعاء .

2- ابتداء الدعاء وانتهاؤه بالثناء على الله والصلاة على رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقد دخل رجل يصلي فقال: "اللهم اغفري وارحمني فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: عجلت أيها المصلي. إذا صليت فقعدت فاحمد الله بما هو أهله وصل علي ثم ادعه". وقال أبو سليمان الداراني رحمه الله: "من أراد أن يسأل الله حاجة فليبدأ بالصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم يسأله حاجته، ثم يختم بالصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فإن الله تعالى يقبل الصلاتين وهو أكرم من أن يدع ما بينهما.

3- تحري أوقات الإجابة: كيوم الجمعة، وليلة القدر، والثلث الأخير من الليل، وحين يصعد الخطيب على المنبر، وبين الآذان والإقامة، وقبل الإفطار للصائم.

4- خفض الصوت: فقد قال تعالى: "ادعوا ربكم تضرعًا وخفية إنه لا يحب المعتدين"، وقيل يا رسول الله: آلله بعيد فنناديه أم قريب فنناجيه؟ فأنزل الله تعالى قوله: {وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإن قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدون}.

5- تجنب التكلف في الدعاء : كحفظ العبارات المسجوعة والإطالة في الدعاء، والأولى أن يكون من القلب وبالمأثور عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. فقد جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقال: إني لا أحسن دندنتك ولا دندنة معاذ، فقال له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: ماذا تقول؟ قال: أسأل الله الجنة، وأستعيذ به من النار، فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: "حولهما ندندن".

Duas for faith

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلنِىْ مِمَّنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْكَ فَكَفَيْتَهُ وَ اسْتَهْدكَ فَهَدَيْتَهُ وَ اسْتَنْصَرَكَ فَنَصَرْتَهُ

Allahummaj 'alni miman tawwakala 'alaika, fakafait-tahu wastahdaka fahadaittahu wastansaraka fanasaratahu

(O Allah! Let us be among those who had complete trust in Thee; so You sufficed them; and they sought guidance from Thee; so You directed them to the right Path; and they asked help of Thee; so You assisted them.)

اللَّهُمَ اجْعَلْ وَسَاوِسَ قَلْبِىْ خَشْيَتَكَ وَ ذِكُرَكَ وَ اجْعَلْ هَمّىْ وَ هَو' ىَ فِيْمَا تُحِبَّ وَ تَرْضى

Allahummaj'al wasāwisa qalbi khashyatika wa dhikrika waj'alhammi wa hawāyā fima tuhibbu wa tarda.

(O Allah! Render the thoughts and inclinations within my heart, to be Your fear and remembrance, and let my endeavour and desire be devoted to what You love and appreciate.)

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Rabbana 'afrigh 'alaiyna sabran-wa ta-waffana muslimeen

(Our Rabb! pour upon us perseverance, and cause us to die as Muslims. [surah al-A'raf, 7: 126]
[supplication made by the wise men who believed in Musa (alayhis salam), and whom were threatened by the Fir'aun]

اللّهُمَّ اَقْبِلْ بِقَلْبِىْ اِلى دِيْنِكَ وَ احْفَظْ مِنْ وَّرَآءِنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ

Allahumma aqbil bi qalbi ilā deenika wahfadh min warāyina bi Rahmatika

(O Allah! Let my heart turn (with devotion) to Your Deen, and save me (from every kind of evil) with Your Mercy.)

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِىْ اَنْ اَزِلَّ وَ اهْدِ نِىْ اَضِلَّ

Allahumma thabbitnī-an azilla wahdini an adilla

(O Allah! Keep me feet firm on Thy Right Path so that I should not stagger, and guide me to the true Faith so that I should not go astray.)

اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ اِيْمَانًا دَآئِمًا وَّ هُدًى قَيِّمًا وَّ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا

Allahumma inni asaluka imaanan daaį'man, wa hudan qayyįman wa 'ilman naafį'an

(O Allah! I ask Thee for everlasting Iman, and continual guidance and a useful Knowledge.)

اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ اِيْمَانًا دَئِمًا وَّ اَسْئَلُكَ قَلْبًا خَاشِعًا وَّ اَسْئَلُكَ يَقْيِنًا صَادِقًا وَّ اَسْئَلُكَ دِينا قَيِّمًا

Allahumma inni asaluka imaanan daāiman, wa asaluka qalban khashi'an, wa asaluka yaqįnan saadiqan, wa asaluka deenan qayyiman.

(O Allah! I ask Thee for everlasting iman; and I ask Thee [for] a heart which should fear Thee; and I ask Thee [for] a true confidence in Thee; and I ask Thee [for] a firm deen.)

اللَّهُمََّ اَحْيِنِىْ مُسْلِمًا وَّ اَمِتْنِىْ مُسْلِمًا

Allahumma ahyini Musliman wa amitinī Musliman


(O Allah! Let me live as a true Muslim, and cause me to die as a true Muslim.)

اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ تَوْفِيْقَ اَهْلِ الْهُد'ى وَ اَعْمَالَ اَهْلَ الْيَقِيْنِ وَ مَنَاصَحَةَ اَهْلَ التَّوْبَةِ وَ عَزْمَ اهْلِ الصَّبْرِ وَ جِدَّ اَهْلِ الْخَشْيَةِ وَ طَلَبَ اَهْلِ الرَّغْبَةِ وَ تَعَبُّدَ اَهْلِ الْوَرْعِ وَ عِرْفَانَ اَهْلَ الْعِلْمِ حَتّى الْقَاكَ

Allahumma inni asaluka tawfiqa ahlil-huda wa 'amala ahlil yaqįni, wa munasahata ahlittaubati, wa 'azma ahlis-sabri, wa jidda ahlil-khashyati, wa talaba ahlil-rraghbati, wa ta'abudu ahlil wa'ri wa 'irfāna ahlil 'ilmi hatta alqāka

(O Allah! I ask You for the success (of good deeds) like the Rightly Guided ones, and the actions (like the Rightly Guided ones), and the sincerity [like that] of the repentant ones, and the determination [like that] of the patient people, and the struggle [like that] of those who Fear You and the search (for Truth) [like that] of those who love You, and the worship [like that] of the the pious, and the keen insight [as of] of great scholars, until I meet You.)

يَا مُقَلَّبَ الْْقُلُوْبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِىْ عَلى دِيْنِكَ


Ya Muqqalib al Qulūub, thabbit qalbi 'ala deenak


(O Converter of hearts! Make my heart steadfast in the deen)

اللَّهُمَّ اِنِىْ اَسْئَلُكَ صِحَّةً فِىْ اِيْمَانٍ وَّ اِيْمَانًا فِىْ حُسْنِ خُلْقٍ وَّ نِجَاحًا تُتْبِعُهْ فَلَاحًا وَّ رَحْمَةً مِنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةً وَّ مَغْفِرَة ً مِنْكَ وَ رِضْوَانً


Allahumma inni asaluka sih-hitan fi imanan, wa imanan fi husni khulqin, wa najāhan tutbi'uhu falahan, wa rahmatan minka, wa 'afiyatan, wa magh-firatan minka wa ridhwaanan

(O Allah! I ask for health/goodness of iman, and iman accompanied by good behaviour, and success followed by peace and mercy from You; and also security, pleasure and forgiveness.)






رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنْ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ


Rabbi qad 'aatay-tanee minal-mulki wa allam-tanee min- ta'-weelil-'ahadees,- Faatiras-samaa-waati wal-arz: 'anta wa-liyyii fid-dunyaa wal-'akhirati ta-waffanee musliman-wa 'al-hiqnee bis-saali-heen

(My Lord! You have already given me of the kingdom and taught me the interpretation of the narratives; Originator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Make me die as a Muslim, and join me with the righteous.) [Surah Yusuf, 12: 101]
[Prophet Yusuf (alayhis salam) made this supplication after he became the ruler of Egypt]






رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ


Rabbi 'awzi'-ni 'an 'ashkura ni'-mata kallatee 'an-'amta 'alayya wa 'alaa waalidayya wa 'an 'a-mala saalihan tarzaahu wa 'adkhilnee bi-rahmatika fee 'ibadikas-saliheen

(My Rabb! permit me to give thanks for Your blessing which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases You, and admit me, with Your mercy, among Your righteous bondsmen.) [surah Naml, 27: 19]
