Ramallah - Sheikh Hassan Yousef, Hamas West Bank prominent leader, Saturday urged the Qassam Brigades, Hamas armed wing, and military wings of all Palestinian factions to remain on the alert to retaliate to any “Zionist attempt to assault the holy Aqsa Mosque”.

Yousef, speaking at a Hamas rally in Ramallah this afternoon, said that there would be no meaning for peace or calming down or negotiations if the Aqsa Mosque was harmed in any way.

“We cannot stand arms folded vis-à-vis any desecration of our Islamic or Christian holy shrines and we will defend them with blood and souls,” he emphasized.

The Hamas leader urged the Arab and Muslim masses to hit the streets in support of their holy shrines in Palestine. (inshaAllah one day  )

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Ghazal, said that a unified Palestinian stand on ending the calming down should be formulated in the event the threats against the Aqsa Mosque were carried out.

He noted that the Zionist occupation had exerted strenuous efforts over the past years to judize Jerusalem. He called on the PA to seriously undertake its responsibilities and to rid itself of the illusion of the so-called Zionist good intentions.

Oh, as if Jerusalem hasn't been a Jewish city for the past 3000 years? <sarcasm> I guess all that archeology that has been found was faked! </sarcasm> LOL
