View Full Version : Love yourself

You claim that you love yourself, so you give priority
[to yourself] more than others. You are becoming
selfish. You think by becoming selfish, you are
saving yourself, when in contrast you are actually ruining
yourself, and do not realize it. If you are
selfish, you in fact hate yourself unconsciously. You
are rich so you are greedy and
stingy, abandoning the
poor and needy. This bad character leads to
feelings of hatred and despise from them towards you. They
hate you, and you definitely are not pleased and
happy to be hated by others. Your natural instinct
cannot accept the abhorrence of other people upon you.
Worse than that, if you are proud and arrogant with
your fortune and luxury, this condemnation upon
you is ever-increasing. If you are ever in
trouble, they will neglect you. They will leave you
alone and let you suffer in your privation because they want
to avenge your incompassion [towards them].
Normally the rich are the target of robbers and thieves.
Due to your richness, you are also exposed to
robbery. Look, in this world alone, you already
have placed your own self
in trouble! Worse than that,
God also hates you because of your stinginess,
greediness and selfishness. Prophet Muhammad will not
admit you as one of his followers. The angels and all
of the creatures (except mankind and jinn) are cursing
you everyday but you do not hear them. The torture of the
grave is awaiting you, as well as the torture in
the Day of Judgment, neither of which you can escape.
The
greatest suffering and pain that you will receive is
the fire of the Hell.
Therefore, what is the value in loving only yourself? What
advantage do you acquire by becoming selfish? Instead
of giving you profit, you lose. More than that you are
destroying and annihilating yourself. Do change your
character before it is too late if you really
love
yourself. Do not put your self in trouble!
