In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
1. Disobey in disobedience
This is the highest level of disobedience towards God.
This type of Moslem does not carry out the laws of God (which is
imposed upon every believer) in his life,
and
contrastingly --- to the Islamic ideal --- he commits
sins (big and small), evils, wrongdoings and crime. He enjoys
committing ins and does not feel remorse and regret. After committing the sins, he forgets them

without feeling guilty or sinful. He is proud even
with the bad character he espouses. He does not accept any
advice, and certainly not admonition from others. If he is warned, he gets mad. He does not
repent over the sins, nor
does he hope for the forgiveness and mercy of God. He is not worried with
his fate in the Hereafter, nor is he scared with the punishment of torture prepared by God. It is
almost as if he is in doubt of the existence of God, and life after

death. This type of Moslem is considered as the

biggest disobedient servant of God. He disobeys God

externally and internally.

2. Disobedient Moslem

This type of person is one who admits to being a
Moslem but his character does not is not indicative of
his faith. He neglects the

commandments of God, and tends to commit

sins, big and/or small. He does not feel that he is
sinful

and does not repent over the sins committed. But he is

not proud of his sins and wrongdoings. He

just doesn't take it (the matter of sins and

hereafter) seriously. He doesn't hope for Allah's

mercy and forgiveness, nor is he afraid of the

punishment of God. This type of Moslem is considered

to be a disobedient servant of God. He disobeys God

externally and internally.

3. Disobey in Obedience

This is a Moslem who performs all of Allahâ's
commandments

in physical perfection such as prayer, fasting, the
performance of

hajj, etc. He shuns all the evils and wrongdoings such

as adultery, stealing, robbery, murdering etc.

Unfortunately he feels that he is a very good Moslem

and very confident that Allah accepted all of worships

and good deeds done. He doesn't feel that he is sinful

because he does not
commit any sin externally. He

thinks he will be saved from the hellfire and will be

dwelling the paradise in the hereafter. Due to the

feelings, he never thinks to ask for Allah's

forgiveness, let alone Allah's mercy.

Worse than that, he looks at others (who commits sins)
as

very unlucky persons who will
be dwelling the
hellfire.

He obeys God externally but disobeys Him internally.

He will be a great loser in the Hereafter because he

forgets that Allah doesn't only look at us externally

but internally as well. He expects the paradise and
never

expects that he will be dwelling the hellfire. When he

dies, he will be placed by God to the Hereafter due to

the absence of the feeling of subservience and
conceit.

He enters the hellfire in complete astonishment and

shock because he never expects that he deserves the

punishment of God because in his life, he did not

disobey God externally. This type of Moslem
is

actually considered a disobedient servant of God

even though he physically or externally looks as an

obedient servant. His heart is filled with the evil

traits which incur the wrath of God. He obeys God

externally but disobeys Him internally.

4. Obey in Disobedience

This is a Moslem who commits sins physically but he
always

feels guilty for the sins. He always blames and

criticizes himself for the sins and the wrongdoings

committed. He seeks Allah's mercy and forgiveness

and fears the punishment in the Hereafter direly.

Tears flow down upon his cheek when he

imagines the severe torture in the Hereafter. He

is remorseful and repents continuously. He always
wants to

be good but always fails in each endeavor

because the struggle against the enticement of the

evil desires and Satan is very painful and hard. His

heart is filled with the feeling of worry and fear.

His heart is waving with the feelings of subservience

and humility. He never thinks that he will enter the

paradise because he feels that he is not qualified for

that. He feels that he only deserves the hellfire.
He

looks at other people as being better than him, and
deserving

of paradise. This type of servant is actually

categorized as an obedient servant of God because God

does not look principally at our external self. By
Allah's

mercy, all of his sins will be forgiven by God. He

disobeys God externally (due to specific reason) but

obeys Him internally.

5. Obey

This is a Moslem who carries out all of the
commandments

imposed upon every Moslem and shuns all types of

evil doing, small and big. But he is never satisfied

with the quality of his worship presented to God. He

preserves the feeling of sinfulness and guilt, even
though

he has done the best. We have to achieve this level

of being a Moslem (at least) in order to be accepted
by God and

be saved from the hellfire. He obeys God externally

and internally.

6. Obey in Obedience.

This is the highest level of obedience towards God.
This Moslem implements

all of the commandments imposed upon him by God
and

avoids and shuns any sins, evils and wrongdoing. He

carries out the worship perfectly but he never feels

that it's perfect. He is worried with the acceptance

of the worship presented to God although God accepted

it. He is very afraid of any sins, small or big. He

always feels that he is the most sinful servant in
the

world even though he avoids committing sins. He never

feels or thinks that he deserves the paradise, while

in contrast he considers himself as the dweller of the

hellfire. For example, S. Omar Al Khattab (one of the

pious companions) was promised by Prophet Muhammad

(pbuh) with the paradise but what we continued to
see
, after [S. Omar Al Khattab] was delivered this news,
was his tears and cries in fear of

God. He never felt that he would be the dweller

even though it had been promised by the Prophet. This

category of Moslem is rarely found nowadays (in the

end of world's age). He obeys God externally and

internally.
