Do you really want an answer to that question? :p
I'm joking.
Sports? You need a pool table definitely.
And if you really want to please the crowd and can afford it, get a tank.

One tank. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Actually, it's more like titanium, but you get the idea.

Table-tennis, if you can afford the equipment, it's a great sport for indoors and knockabouts.

If you read the first post again, it was asked what kind of activites, not what most active sport can be played in youth clubs - so what you said about me not understanding that football is more active is just pointless. Oh and in football, not everyone is 100% active. In table-tennis, you are active 100& during gameplay.

Well you have to have a mix of everything,
so for example:
*creative section (where they can write stories, poem etc and share amongst their peers if they please and awards/prize can be given for the best creative thing)
*sports (whether this be cricket/tennis outdoors in the summer, badminton and table tennis indoors etc).
*Artistic section (you can have an area where artistic youths draw, paint etc)
*debate (its always fun to debate about issue with diff people)
*games (self-explanatory)
*study area (they can get help with h/w etc)
hope that helps
Also can we all grow up and stop picking on others....

What do you mean? if you're speaking of giving ideas or setting up a place for youths, segregated (inshallah) then bring evidence for your statement.
Being a ruler isn't the same as being an adminstrator. Soon you'll be saying woman are not allowed to be teachers as well....
We aren't well-versed enough to be blurting out with such comment akh....daleel is required.

I am a part time youth worker. We have a popular youth club on Friday nights. Some of the activities we provide is
Pool
Table tennis
Table football
Childrens soft play area
Playstation
Tuck shop
Internet access
Friday nights is for boys only, although girls up to the age of 10 can come with their fathers. The dads also have a good time chatting to other dads over a cup of tea. The club is also used by the girls on a different day, but I do not know what activities they do.
Hope this helps.

I wanted to open a gym and recreational centre for muslims sisters... yeah complete with pool tables :D
but before I found the money for it e.g won the lottery.. someone else beat me to the gym : ( but the recreational centre is a fantastic idea... but sorry girls u have to wait until I win the lotto.. or maybe I could get some muslim councillors to sponsor the project hmmm:?
oh and abt the youth clubs, we cud show islamic videos there and learn about islam, have quizzes and ppl could recite quran and just generally learn about islam and have some halal fun blah blah blah.. i think it's a wicked idea! It would help get them yobs of the streets and do something positive for a change.

I see nothing wrong with the playstation as long as the games are controlled i.e keep it to car racing, football and not killing and fighting!

Surely we need to teach our youngsters to stay away from the FITNAH that is the mixing of sexes. Prevention is better than cure! Teach the youth the right way and they will marry correctly, Insha Allah. It is our duty as Muslims to guide and advise those who need it.

I dont mean the rating of the games, rather the 'activeness'. Do not take me wrong, I am the biggest gamer you will ever find (or something like that ;D ) - but at Youth Clubs it should be about getting to know each other, getting involved in active sports.
A person already does alot of sitting at home.

=Abrar;212184]the hell you don't need to!
You might not be... but the manner in which you speak, makes you come across as being a lil arrogant. Good manners will never take anything away from you. So please try to show a little more politeness in ur remarks.
