I don't have a Welsh accent - alhamdulillah :d. But I do have a Cardiff accent. Its a bit more clipped with little slur, and quite fast.

Myself I don't know what you are all talking about. I don't have an accent. Sure everyone else might sound a little funny but I speak English perfectly.

I was standing in a queue in a takeaway once and this scottish guy started talking to me. I could'nt understand a word of what he was saying, so not wanting to be rude I kept saying "yeh.. rite..." or just nodding my head, until the look on his face told me that he was surprised I'd said 'yes'. I think he must've asked me something bad or even asked me to come for a drink and stupid me had replied with a "Yes" .. whatever it was it makes me cringe when i think about it and now I make sure I keep away from geordies.. :phew:

Mine is "Manglish" (malaysian english), It's mostly like "singlish" (singaporean english). The difference is that Manglish have more Malay words and singlish have more Hokkien Chinese words.

For example:

mobile phone/cellphone - handphone
reverse - gostan
tomato ketchup - tomato sauce

Phrases (pronounciation):
"What is your name?" - What is yor name, huh? (wat is yorr nem hah?)
"I am going to the market" - I am going to the market, lah (ai am gowing to de market lah);D

I prefer the Malay version of English, rather than Chinese or Indian version because it's easy to understand.

Sometimes when a chinese speak English, I was like "What?":rollseyes

Example: "How many 'kraak" you have in your office?". And I did say: "What? 'Kraak'?" :rollseyes (I did roll my eyes). He then said: "the people who do the typing, ma!". Then I know it's 'clerk' but he pronounced it 'kraak'.;D

On the contrary dear sister. You do have an accent. If you were in Australia - your accent differs widely from the norm - you would be judged as having an accent. If I came to US, the same would be said for me. Everyone has an accent.

No.....well...yes i do sumtimes, wiv my freinds, but i don't exactly say the stuff i wrote b4.......

But i change my speaking style according to everbody i speak 2.

Others find it hard to do that and then end up talkin like that to their elders.

was it islamgyal that said Christians have an accent LOL

anyhow, I have a wierd accent, its well, i was raised in italy and england but brought up and learned english from american tv.

So its neither british nor american nor italian.

A British person will say I sound foreign an American person would say that and so will an italian and so would someone from my home country.

So im so confused.

But I love the Manchester, Ahmed Ali, Pakistani Accent That is the deepest accent, also south american but american in general.

One other amazing accent is the Latino type of acent, like them peurtoricans that is nice.

Also the australian one too.

But latino is deeeeeeeeeeeee best lol

I don't speak with an accent.

Though it'd probably sound like a 'Leicester' version of an English accent to someone listening. However, I don't speak with an accent.

Or something.
