This is a simple webpage to show the total muslim population worldwide. We have gathered all the data from authentic sources and calculated the muslim population in each countries and ultimately in the five continents.


We also wanted to show that, by even taking data from General Sources, like CIA Fact Sheet, we can easily establish that fact that total Muslim Population in 2006 is 1.6 billion which is far greater than currently estimated 1.2 or 1.3 billion. Under general source section, we have taken all the datas from popular sources such as CIA Fact Sheet, HOLT,RINEHART & WINSTON etc.


We think that in some countries the total number of Muslims are more in percentage than shown in general sources, like in China and India. For all those few above cases Islamic Sources, news items and thought provoking articles came in great help. Our reasearch shows that the total Muslim Population is 1.79 billion in year 2006.

well how do u explain the millions extra muslims in china when in china there is birth control (2 children only) and polygamy is forbidden and muslim cant give dawah on the street. how do u explain that

So let me get this right - your source has a source that claims under the Guomindang there were 48 million Muslims in China but now the Communists say there are only 28 million and your conclusion is that there are really 150 million Muslims?

Why only estimate 1.6 billion Muslims? With logic like this I am sure there must be at least 16 billion.

Again number mean a lot in certain perspective but it does not mena anything if the unity is not there.
But assuredly if according to prophecy the muslim Unnah will suffer greatly in the coming years with oppresion,strife and calamity.
