Years ago, I went to 2 websites. One was www.muslimsforbush.com & the other was www.muslimsforkerry.com. On both of these websites, I posted the ruling from the scholars on the impermissibility of voting for the kuffar. I will discuss this later. What I wanted to discuss here, is the question that I posed on both those sites, to which I never received and answer. The question was then: What is it that you think Bush or Kerry is going to do for Muslims & Islam? No one ever answered the question, and as you can see from the events that have taken place, the answer is NOTHING! The only exception is in saying that they (Politicians) have attacked Islam in a way not easily recognized by many people. The Shariah and the Sunnah dictate how Muslims should deal with a tyrant ruler, and calling on the help of the kuffar is not the answer. Before I post my other comments, I would like to see what my Muslim brothers & sisters think about this subject. What has Bush & America done for the Muslims & Islam? Hurt or Helped? My answer: Hurt!

Interesting topic. I do agree, that Muslims should not waste their vote on kufrs, rather they should cast for Brothers and Sisters running in the campaign. I recall watching a documentry, that revealed: A Muslim (Pakistani Orgin) lost the campaign by 1000 votes only!, otherwise he would have been Mayor of NY City.

Now regarding your second question: What have Bush and American done for Muslims?
I would not blame All Americans or America itself. The people are foolish, brainwashed, misled by propoganda, and state-controlled media. Some Americans, have done alot for Muslims and around the world - however the Gov'ts have failed not only Muslims, but everyone - including their beloved neighbours *ahem* Canada. But, its true - that the attrocities commited by Gov't is mostly against the Muslims - i.e. Bosnia, Jerusalam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, African Nations, etc etc...

If u live in a Non Muslim majority constituency, for sure the candidates are non Muslims.

In 2004 election, in my Parliamentary Constituency, the candidates are both Non Muslims:

1) BN (Govenrment party) - Chinese
2) DAP (Socialists opposition) - Sikh

I've voted one of them, and he did won.:okay:
