You know, I have an even better idea.
Rather than making topics of no use like this, why not make topics like "why do you love Allah?", "what deeds are you most consistant in?", "what drives you to become a better Muslim" etc.
Don't you think we should make topics of such so others can gain inspiration from them? Or do you have enough free time on the web? Remember, just talking about Allah, even thinking/reading about Him is a great reward in itself.

Why? Well I'm not the one who has enough free time to start topics. Why is it the person who tries to make things better, always gets a finger back? Ya Allah!

Maybe if the starting of the topic would've said so, no one would've minded. It seemed pretty obvious someone just wanted to know peoples bad habits. Not listen to them and rectify them.

Has it occured to you yet that some of you including the topic starter are confessing to sins they commit? Is this a good thing to do? Revealing sins?
Hmm, maybe what I said was stupid after all. May Allah help us all. Ameen.

My worst habit...hmm, not tidiying things up, my room is an absolute tip 99.9% of the time, which is tragic.
Yes its spelt "symptoms" (sorry but im a real nag when it comes to literacy)
And concerning sugar, too much sugar leads to hyperactivity in children, but also in adults, although, i would say with adults its more like saying tactless things.

Are you trying to mock me? I'm only pointing out what you should not do, should you feel the need to mock me, do it freely. I pray Allah has mercy upon you.
...the case of Maa’iz when he confessed to having committed zina – that it is mustahabb for the one who falls into a similar sin to repent to Allaah and conceal his sin and not mention it to anyone, as Abu Bakr and ‘Umar said to Maa’iz. Whoever discovers anything of that nature should conceal it according to what we have mentioned; he should not expose it or refer the matter to the ruler, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in this story: “If you had concealed it with your garment it would have been better for you.” Hence
al-Shaafa’i (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “If a person commits a sin and Allaah conceals it for him, I prefer for him to conceal it too and to repent,” and he quoted as evidence the story of Maa’iz with Abu Bakr and ‘Umar.
Fath al-Baari, 12/124, 125
Are you convinvced now sister muslimahimprovin? I remember, when I first said this was not a good idea, but then you said you will benefit from it. So far, it looks like you've lost out. I was only there to advise you, not put you down and make you feel bad about yourself.

Brother, I'm sure you had good intentions, but it seems like no one is even trying to rectify themselves. No one's giving advice on how to overcome their habits, and as I predicted, this topic was just made for a laugh, just like the other one.

But you will need to be extremely carefull and not reveal that which is classed as a sin.
I don't really understand why a topic is needed in this matter, can't you just PM the person and tell them their bad habits? I'm sure as muslims we're not supposed to mock anyone in a publicised manner and make a subject out of them.
