السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Here is a poem in Arabic that helps me through my times of distress… I translated it in English to the best of my ability.

~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~

اذا اشتدت بك البلوى
ففكر في الم نشرح
فعسر بين يسرين
اذا فكر ته ففرح

When u are afflicted with a calamity,
Then reflect on Al-Inshrah {Qu’raan surah 94}*
Certainly one difficulty is between to ease
Then after you contemplate, Exault!

~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~ :wilted_ro ~

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-
2. And removed from thee thy burden
3. The which did gall thy back?-
4. And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?
5. So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
6. Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
7. Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,
8. And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.

**This chapter, likes its predecessors, comforts the Prophet. His difficulties were not to continue, but would soon be followed by ease, and it was a sufficient indication of this that his breast was opened or expanded for the Truth, whence the title of the chapter. The greatest burden, that which almost broke his back, his deep anxiety for humanity, had been removed by Divine revelation.
