A little something i wrote back in my younger 'lost soul' days... :brother:

COME TO THE
FOUNTAIN OF TRUTH.
SIP THE WATERS OF WISDOM,
AND TELL THE LIES FROM THE TRUTH.
SPEAK FROM YOUR HEART,
FEEL FROM YOUR SOUL.
DO AS YOU WISH,
YOU STILL CANT CHANGE THE WORLD.
THE WORLD IS ALWAYS GONNA STAY THE SAME,
OFF YOUR FACE YOU CANT WIPE OF THE SHAME.
OR TAKE THE BLAME OF WHAT YOU HAVNT DONE.
WHY CANT WE ALL THINK LIKE ONE?
PROMOTE PEACE ALL THE WAY,
LISTEN TO ME AND HEAR WHAT I SAY.

WHY CANT THIS WORLD
BE LIKE IT IS IN MY DREAMS?
WHY CANT THIS WORLD,
BE LIKE HOW I WANT IT TO BE SEEN?
WHY CANT THIS WORLD,
BE LIKE A PLACE WHICH I CAN CALL HOME?
WHY CANT THIS WORLD
BE A PLACE WHICH I CAN CALL MY OWN?
WHY CANT THIS WORLD
BE OF PEACE AND HARMONY?
WHY CANT THIS WORLD
NO LONGER BE COLD?
I KNOW ON MY OWN
I CANT CHANGE THE WORLD.

HATE AND FEAR IS ALL I SEE,
AS THE SUN GOES DOWN IN THE SEA,
IS THIS REALITY OR AN ILLUSION?
GO OUT IN THE WORLD AND FACE YOUR FEARS,
IM NOT GONNA BE THERE TO WIPE YOUR TEARS.
ROSES BLOOM WHILE THE STARS MAY FALL,
LISTEN TO THE MAN ACROSS THE HALL,
ANSWER HIS CALL,DEATH WILL MAKE HIM FALL,
LOOK AT WHAT IM DOING,HEAR WHAT I SAY,

ONE MAN DIES WHILE A CHILD IS BORN,
TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG.
AS YOUR YOUTH FADES,SO DOES YOUR MIND,
LOSING A LOVED ONE AND GOING BLIND,
ALL CAN BE PREVENTED,ALL CAN BE SAVED,
THE WORLD CANT BE CHANGED YET CAN BE PREVAILED.
ADMIT TO YOUR SINS AND ANSWER TO GOD.
RISE YOUR BROODLINGS,PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES,
LET THE STAR FALL AND SLICE THE TREES,
YOU CANT DO MORE THEN PROMOTE PEACE,
SPEAK FROM YOUR HEART,
TELL FROM YOUR SOUL,
TRY AS YOU MAY,
YOU STILL CANT CHANGE THE WORLD….

Asallaman Alaikum brother,

Mash'Allah that was a very deep poem.We all would love this world to be one of peace & Security.We all would want this world to be as perfect as we all hoped it would have been,but we have to keep in mind that this world is here for a reason.Earth was made primarly for mankind,and mankind were created to worship Allah the lord of the Alamiin.Allah tests us with hardship and strife to decifier between his righteous or nongrateful slaves.If this world was perfect and there was no hunger,bloodshed,fear,and etc...then this system of decifiering between good and bad would be ruined.

So even though we can't make the whole world peaceful,but we're able to make this world a good place for ourselves.Stick to Islam,follow Islam in it's true essence and there's no doubt you will be successful both in this world and in the hereafter.A very wise women once told me,"Be the change you want to see in this world."

Allahu Akbar truly the sate of the Muslim is nothing,but of security and glad tidings Alhamdullilahi Rabil Alameen.

Mashallah awesome poem

Here is a sample of another one of the poems :

fear of losing all that i had ever known
is eating me up from the inside
consumption of evil,consumption of it all
i know is going to land me on the wrong side
in search of a meaning,a meaning to this life
in search of a way,a way to make you mine.
in search of a person,someone whom i can hold
in search of a love,to keep me warm in the cold.
as i open my eyes,i find myself back where i began
as i open my eyes i find myself getting pounded in the rain
as i look around
youre all that i can ever see
lost possesion,lame decision,and a lost love
isnt going to hold me back from being with you.


Once again,make note,..i wrote these poems back in my unislamic days.

These days,i dont write poetry or do art,i am nolonger inspired...lets say,..my inspiration walked out the door :?

But yeah,i wont post the rest of the poem,...for personal reasons :okay:
