Close.

kemon achen= shuddho or proper bengali.

Balani, bala assoni= syhleti which is another dialect.

Jazakallah sister S.

Pani kaba?

Meaning want to drink water...

In sylhetti it's basically the 'p' sounds turn into 'f' sounds :p

and the 'K' turns into 'kh'

Oh I see, Jazakallah khair!

I'm not bragging, but I could call myself somewhat an expert at sylhetti dialect, but it's the Shuddho/Dakha Dialect I am having problems with...I used to speak it quite a while back.

If you want me to translate this :p..here goes:
otho din duri khew ino kicchu post khorse na khene? ami to suto takhte bangla shiksi, kintu shob bhulya gesi (it's not much of a translation but I hope it'll do!)
I was the same I guess, at the age of two, could speak fluent shuddho..and now I speak binglish..LOL! AND when I speak Bangla I mix up Sylheti and Shuddho!..I never make sense to anyone! LOL!
okay, try translatin..
Ami Bangla Maatthe fari na!
