“No ways! Are you crazy! Its
Haraam”
“
Haraam! Ha! You never worried about that before.”
“My mother will kill me!”
“That old woman! She doesn’t have to know. One puff man…and all your problems will disappear…it’s magic…bliss…go on, be a MAN!”
“…………OK fine! But just this once.”
And so it begins.
A MOTHER’S BROKEN HEART
You can never understand my feelings ;
those feelings that reside in my heart .
The sorrow , the rejection , the helplessness ,
tearing me slowly apart.
Did I not carry him in my womb
for all those many months ?
Did I not for him sacrifice
my effort , my time , my wants ?
And this is how he repays me!
By destroying his life and mine!
By physically and verbally abusing me !
Oh , for my once sweet son do I pine !
My ambitions and hopes for him
are now no more than wistful dreams.
Accountancy , medicine , teaching -
But no , he’s chosen drug addiction , it seems !
I wonder what I did to deserve this ,
I wonder what it was that I did wrong .
Oh ! You hateful evil drugs ,
whoever did invite you along ?
You can never understand my feelings ,
as life for me drags on .
I shall persist in reclaiming my son.
No matter how long it takes.
I WANT HIM BACK AGAIN!

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As (R.A):
“The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) forbade wine, game of chance (maysir), drum (kubah), and wine made from millet (ghubayrah), saying: Every intoxicant is forbidden.”

“They question thee about strong drink and games of chance. Say: In both is great sin, and (some) utility for men; but the sin of them is greater than their usefulness.”
