Kind of reminds me of my situation, i was blind but now i am partially sighted. I memorised the qur'an. It took a while but alhamdulillah i done it.

mashallah, the brother recently vivited Croydon Mosque and his recitation was soooooooo beautiful.......you would cry if you heard it mashallah allahu akbar

Subhanallah this brother came and recited in my local Masjid. He recited most beautifully. It brought out tears from everyone who was there. Allahu Akbar.
He is also a Hafiz-ul-Qur'an and has studied the 7 Hadith books mashallah
