No, not as such. I have some good, praticing Muslim friends I know from the Islamic Circle (at Regents Park Mosque, London). I find it hard to know if Chrisitanity or Islam is the ultimate truth, but I'm:statisfie thinking hard about it all!

Yes I have been. They are ok. The best person to talk to at regents Park Mosque is Abdul-Rahim Green. I believe you have heard of him...

I have talked with him once. He's a good chap. I try and go to the Islamic Circle every Saturday (I find them a bit addictive!) most of the talks are really intersting/stimulating, and I have made some excellent friends there too.

You take care of your neck!!
This forum should come with a health warning. REPETITIVE STRAIN INJURY LIKELY! :giggling:

Why I am here?
I live in a community with many Muslim neighbours. I would like to get to know them better and make friends, but I find it very difficult to make acquaintances.
With the men it seems inappropriate, and the women keep themselves to themselves, and often don't speak much English.
So I figured, the more I find out about Islam, the more likely I am to be able to relate to my Muslim neighbours.

I find this forum extremely easy, and people are open, friendly and only to happy to answer questions.

I hope you enjoy yourself here.

Peace. :)

I know what you mean about becoming better acquianted with one's Muslim neigbours. For me, I found the best way was to go to my local mosque (in Regent's Park - London Central mosque) - its very ethnically diverse and very friendly. That way I learnt alot about the faith, & was given an armful of free books to read! I have made at least one close friend as a result.
