Allah The Creator

How this big earth came to be,
And everything that we see,
Even things in outer space,
Came about by Allah's grace.

How people lived so long ago,
Lessons that we have to know,
And who does Allah love the best,
And why He puts us all to test.

How He makes the raindrops fall,
And what about the tree so tall,
What about the plants that grow,
And reasons for the wind to blow.

How about the oceans wide,
And different animals that we ride,
Not to mention mountains high,
And the magnificence of the sky.

Find out what we must not do,
Things that are bad for me and you,
Also things that are right,
And how we can all gain insight.

And the nature and the glory,
Unfolds like a beautiful story,
Of Almighty as He talks to you,
Conveying a message pure and true,
Read it up in the Qur`aan,
It will strengthen your Imaan.

poem
SMILE!!!!

She smiled at a sorrowful stranger.
The smile seemed to make him feel better.

He remembered past kindness of a friend
And wrote him a thank you letter.

The friend was so pleased with the thank you
That he left a large tip after lunch.

The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,
Gave part to a man on the street.

The man on the street was grateful;
For two days he'd had nothing to eat.

After he finished his dinner,
He left for his small dingy room.

He didn't know at that moment
that he might be facing his doom.

On the way he picked up a shivering puppy
And took him home to get warm.

The puppy was very grateful
To be in out of the storm.

That night the house caught on fire.
The puppy barked the alarm.

He barked till he woke the whole household
And saved everybody from harm.

One of the boys that he rescued
Grew up to be President.

All this because of a simple smile
That hadn't cost a cent.

...and THAT is the power of a smile! So smile away :)

The Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, said:
"Every good deed is sadaqah (charity). To meet your
brother with a smiling face and to pour out from your
bucket into his container are sadaqah."

Oh, what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow

His door is open no matter who you are
Just take the first step, you'll see it's not so far
Down this road that holds all the answers
Open you heart to something greater

His Holy Book speaks pure and true
And always tells us what we must do
His Last Prophet was sent as a guide
An example by which we abide

There is salvation for those who seek
To find the one and only source of peace
An understanding of why we are here
Who created us - who we must fear

So, what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow

Such different people from different lands
We're all descendants of the first man
We can be one nation facing one God
With no hatred, no envy, no war

Created equal are you and I
Which of His favours can we ever deny
We may have everything or nothing at all
But our purpose lies with this call

To worship Him, to praise Him all day
Onto the Straight Path, let's not go astray
He is the Greatest and Most Merciful
And everything acts upon His will

So, what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow

Like every sunrise that brings forth each day
Brings new meaning, new hope, a new way
Such is the blessing bestowed upon us
Every hardship and heartache will pass

From the mountains to the deep blue sea
Everything in perfect harmony
And as the stars fill the evening sky
Without us sensing life is passing by

So, if you want a solution, my friend
Seize this moment, this day before it ends
Turn to Him, don't you see its so clear

Believe in Allah, He's always near

So, what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow

What happened to those days when my faith was strong?
When I wouldn't dare think of doing anything wrong.
When my trust in Allah would lead me through
The good and bad, the old and new
What happened to the days when my prayer was sincere?
When there was absolutely nothing on earth I would fear
When I was certain that Allah was very near
And would run to Him and leave all else that is dear
What happened to those days when I could recite well?
When I bought Paradise and this world I would sell
When my heart was pure and all full of light
When my Salah was my source of strength and might
What's wrong my soul, why did you fall?
Don't you know that Allah hears your call?
A little test like this shouldn't beat you so
It shouldn't pull you down to a level so low
Don't you know that Allah always chooses what is best
And that this is all part of a previously planned test

Allah is Great, Allah is Al-Hakeem
His ways are just, no matter how hard it may seem
Hold on my soul, to the fireball in your palm
Hold on tight and when it burns, be calm
Whenever it falls, bend down and restart
Let out the tears and wipe clean that heart
Get back on your feet and go back to those days
You will soon see this is only a transient phase

Whenever there's a problem,
Wherever there's dispair
Just bow your head in prayer and know
That God will always be there.

When things look bleak and dreary,
When it seems that no one cares,
Have faith, my friend, in our Lord
And he will answer all your prayers.

I know sometimes it's hard,
Things don't seem to work out right,
But it truly is quite pointless
To kick or scream or fight.

When you really need an answer,
On HIM you can depend.
Only FAITH can move a mountain -
So, have FAITH in God, my friend

AFTER A WHILE ....you learn!
The subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn,
that love doesnt mean leaning
and company doesnt always mean security.
And you begin to learn,
that kisses are'nt contracts
and presents are'nt promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes ahead
with the grace of man,not the grief of a child
and you learn,
to build your roads on today
because tomorrows' ground is
too uncertain for plans,
and future has a way of falling down
in mid flight.
After a while you learn,
that even sunshine burns
if you get too much.
So u plant your own garden
and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure,
you really are strong
and you really do have worth,
and you learn
and you learn
with every good bye, you learn.....

• Life is not the bed of roses, but it is like a battle field, where a soldier have to do his duties fully attentively.
• Life ends when you stop Dreaming. Hope is lost when you stop Believing and love fails when you stop caring.
• life. multiplication of greefs, division of happiness is the name of life. life can not run fast then death.
• When you were born you were crying and everyone around you was smiling... live your life that when you die you are smiling and everyone around you is crying.
• Just because of u!no matter what may come tomorrow, today ma lifez more complete.
• Life is like a crystal ball which should be played very carefully if not it will break u as but breaks itself
• Life without love is just like a ship without a rudder, a candle without a light and the heart without passion.
• life is full of second chances all we need is the ability to recognize it and the courage to act.
• Life is nothing its a journey towards death!!.
• Life is an Ice Cream ,Enjoy It before it Melts, life is a game ,Play it, Life is a Prize, Win It.
• uture belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
• The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes.
• Live each day like it was your last.
• Many people will come and walk in ur life but only true friend will left foot prints.
• Death is not greatest lose of life ,the greatest lose is that what dies inside us while we live.
• The success in marriage is much more than finding the right person:it is matter of being the right person.
• Live for everyone but die for only one .
• The heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of.
• Falling in love is so hard on the knees.
• Nobody has ever measured, even poets, how much a heart can hold.

This life we are told is indeed a test
so every nation with prophets was blessed
124 thousand we learn from Hadith
prophets came with the message of peace

They had the same message, Allah is one
he has no partners and has no son
Do good deeds and worship your Lord,
help the needy with what you can afford

David, Jesus, Abraham, Moses and more
are some of the prophets that came before
They were only men we mustn't confuse
selected by Allah to bring the good news

After these Prophets had passed away
people got mixed up and went astray
They changed the message to suit their needs
worshipped idols and start bad deeds

Another Prophet Allah would send
and their way of life he would amend
This pattern repeated again and again
until Muhammed the final messenger came

A madman, a poet, a magician or what
all of the above he was not
His honesty and character they had all seen
this pure noble soul they called Al-Amin

Muhammed the truthful, was indeed sincere
Allah's final messenger to many it was clear
He had been appointed to guide mankind
to illuminate ignorant hearts so blind

The message was beautiful and so pure
to the hearts of mankind the wisdom did lure
It filled their lives with love and compassion
Muhammed words? No it can only be revelation

The prophet himself could not read or write
yet Allah gave him this illuminating light
It entered their hearts purifying their souls
and the faithful scribes wrote it on scrolls

In Ramadan the whole Quran was recited and said
even today by millions of Muslims it is read
Every word was recorded like the prophet was told
the exact same message fourteen hundred years old

The Quran is now for all mankind a guide,
it can never be changed and will forever abide,
Its a promise of Allah - an undisputed fact
the message sent to Muhammed will remain intact

No more idols or lords we should erect
the oneness of Allah we should respect
Part of the first pillar known as Tawheed
recited la-illah ha illallah the Muslim creed

We should pray Salah like the prophet taught
and ask for Allah's help like the Prophet sought
To taqwah and unity this will indeed give rise
the second pillar of Islam, the spiritual exercise

We must fast in the whole month of Ramadan
and do good deeds as many as we can
This gift of life we begin to appreciate
by not drinking or eating not even a date

Ramadan is a month Muslims eagerly await
peace unity and happiness it does create
removing the blinkers a fresh outlook we see
this wonderful month, pillar number three

Some of our wealth we give to those in need
the homeless and hungry we must try and feed
The poor are helped much by this gift so small
this is called Zakat the fourth pillar so tall

To visit the Kabaah, the house of Allah
every Muslim must travel from near and far
Once in a lifetime this great journey we make
the final pillar, a tough task we undertake

The rich, the poor, the black and the white
the male, the female equal in Allah's sight
From all walks of life to hajj they all came
standing before Allah they are all the same

To always be good and honest we must try
we need to remember one day we will die
Only a very small time we can spend here
then we must leave this world so dear

We will be asked about the life we spent
if we did good to heaven we will be sent
this will be decided on the Judgement day
and in heaven or hell we will forever stay

No more guides or prophets will be sent again
instead we have the Quran so deep yet plain
If we get confused to the Quran we turn
a message from the most high from which to learn

For all mankind and forever more
wisdom and teachings it does store
To eternal life it opens the door
the words of our creator that we cant ignore

There are millions of Muslims in the world today
the fastest growing religion experts say
Together to the one true God Muslims Pray
by following the Quran, its only Allah we Obey.

Poem

Whenever you are sad,
Look to the sky.
Then raise your hands,
And begin to cry.

Plead to your Lord,
To help you cope.
Do not despair,
Rather, have hope.

Spare a thought for the widow,
And remember the needy.
Then remind yourself,
Not to be greedy.

Bear in mind the child orphan,
And the starving boy.
Think of the little girl,
Who does not even have a toy.

Look inside your fridge,
At the food and drink.
Should you not be grateful?
Should that not make you think?

Look at the roof above you,
The security of your home.
Think of your family,
Which means you're not alone.

Feel the clothing on your back,
And the shoes on your feet.
Peep outside the window,
The safety of your street.

Ponder over the things which you have,
Not of those which weren't meant to be.
That should make you feel better,
And give you tranquility.

Life will throw hardships at you,
But only as much as you can bear.
There are many who are worse off,
And their sorrows they cannot share.

So carry on fighting,
Through thick and thin.
Life is a battle,
One which you must win.

i do not knoe writer

JUST LIKE THAT
Sometimes I think about
the moment of no doubt
the fate that reached every
tall short person
thin be he, or stout
when it came it just came
just like that
the intensity of the pain
unconcievable by the brain
they said it was like
70 swords aimed to strike
how can I bear that if
only by a cut,
my arm will get so stiff
How will i act.....
What will I say....
I can't just run away
from facing that day
All I can do is Pray
to Allah everyday
in hope that he may
make it a simple day
I heard that some hallucinated
and from the pain
commited blasphemy
now.... I really won't like
that to happen to me
at least because
at that moment of pain
I'll be under so much strain
that caring about someone else
would be the least
Will I go to Janah
what my soul always desired?
or will I be sent
directly to the hellfire?
........just like that
My soul always tells me:
"No ,that won't happen to you....
you are a pious man
with a heart
overflown with Iman
Allah will spare you
from the pain"....
But how can that be true....
When the Prophet sent to you
better than you and him.....
peace be upon him
suffered these moments too
.....just like that
Or are you better than him?!?!?
So my advice for you
......and for me too
is to stick to The Book
sent by The Creator of man
(and every other thing)
The Holy Quran
and read a part daily ,
at least one chapter
this insha Allah
is good for the Hereafter
not only reading....
....understanding too
Quran and Sunnah ...
stick to these two
Is it too hard
to do that at once?
Well, ... and so is
... entering Paradise
So DO IT ........
that is my advice...
.....just like that
and pray for the person
who wrote this poem
so he won't be punished
..... just like that

The Prophet of Islam
The crown of creation set with richest gems
Diamonds and rubies in value beyond ken
Unequaled in brilliance, unique of kind
Are thou, O great Prophet! to all mankind.
Truthful by nature and of most saintly men,
All called thee the Trusty, the Al-Ameen,
Most loving to children, courteous to all,
To animals, tender, alike to great and small,
Never on earth a nobler soul has trod,
Never had another showed a truer way to God.
O sweetest flower that ever on earth did bloom,
Matchless alike in divine beauty and perfume,
O whitest lily that human eyes have seen,
O loveliest rose that in the world had been.
All nature join in homage, all men adore
Thee who brought light to a dark some world,
Thee whose teachings are as a necklace of pearls
Which when worn does radiant beauty impart,
Adding luster to body, soul and to heart.
Ya Rasool-Allah! our dearest friend and guide,
May God's eternal blessings with thee abide.
From the Arabian deserts thou surrounded thy call
To the worship of God, the Lord of all:
From the Arabian deserts thou taught mankind
Now the truest knowledge of God to find.
Thy words flew as lightening the whole world around
Of Truth and Light they did fully abound,
And nations, acknowledging the power of their sway,
Did find and follow the most truthful way.
In the wake of thy words true piety did spring,
And great knowledge and virtues did truly bring.
Never on earth a better soul was born,
Never the world did a purer soul adorn.
Man was fast sinking in idolatry and sin
When thy great mission did first begin.
Then in place of darkness thou Light did give,
And taught mankind the noblest way to live;
And reformed the world as never before,
And unique blessings on it did bestow.
Praise be to Allah for this favor divine
In sending thee the wicked world to refine,
Search the world though we may find from pole to pole
While the great ocean of time does onward roll,
A more perfect Prophet never can we find
Than thee who, thank God, gave Islam to mankind
Ya Rasool-Allah! my homage I make to thee,
Ya Nabi-Allah! my love I tender thee,
My life, my all, for thee I gladly give,
Thy divine messages shall with me forever live
My love for thee no bounds does know,
In my heart thy memory shall ever glow
May Allah shower His choicest blessings on thee
May Allah grant thee peace for all eternity.(Ameen)

TIME
Imagine there is a bank which credits your account each morning with
$86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep
no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount
you had failed to use during the day.
What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!
Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.
Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to
invest to good purpose.
It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens
a new account for you.
Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the
day's deposits, the loss is yours.
There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". You
must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get
from it the utmost in health, happiness and success! The clock is
running. Make the most of today.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who has failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who has given birth to a
pre-mature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE DAY, ask a daily wage laborer who has kids to feed.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who has missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who has avoided an accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLI-SECOND, ask the person who has won a
silver medal in the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you
shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time ...
and remember that time waits for no one. . . Yesterday is history
Tomorrow a mystery Today is a gift That's why it's called the present!

WE WEAR THE MASK

We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,-
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.

Why should the world be over-wise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.

We smile, but, oh our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
We wear the mask!

Don't lose your way with each passing day
You've come so far, don't throw it away
Live believing, dreams are for weaving
Wonders are waiting to start
Live your story, Faith hope and glory
Hold to the truth in your heart

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by, for you and I

Souls in the wind must learn how to bend
Seek out a star, hold on till the end
Valley, mountain, there is a fountain
Washes our tears all away
Worlds are swaying, someone is praying
Please let them come home to stay

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by, for you and I

When we are out there in the dark
We'll dream about the sun
In the dark, we'll feel the light
Warm our hearts … Everyone

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
As high as souls can fly
The clouds roll by, for you and I

To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe,
To bear with unbearable sorrow,
To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong,
To love pure and chaste from afar,
To try when your arms are too weary,
To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest,
To follow that star --
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far.

To fight for the right without question or pause,
To be willing to give when there's no more to give
To be willing to die so that honor and justice may live

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will be peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this,
that one man scorned and covered with scars
still strove with his last ounce of courage.
To reach the unreachable star.

Laugh and the world laughs with you.
Weep, and you weep alone:
For this stolid old earth
Has need of your mirth,
It has troubles enough of its own.

Sing, and the hills will echo it:
Sigh, and it's lost on the air;
For they want full measure
Of all your pleasure,
But nobody wants your care.

Feast, and your halls are crowded,
Fast, and they'll pass you by;
Succeed and give,
And they'll let you live,
But fail - and they'll let you die.

dreamt I was in heaven
Where an angel kept God's book
The angel was writing so intently
I just had to take a look

It was not, at first, the writing
That made me stop and think
But the fluid in the bottle
That was marked 'Eternal Ink'

This ink was most amazing,
Dark-black upon the blotter
But as it touched the parchment
It became as clear as water

The angel kept on writing
But as quickly as a wink
The words were disappearing
With that strange Eternal Ink

The angel took no notice
But kept writing on and on
Turning each page and filling them
Till all the space was gone

I thought the angel wrote to no avail
The efforts were so vain
For written were many pages
That would never be read again

As I watched and wondered
That this awesome sight was mine
I actually saw a word stay black
As it dried upon the line

The angel kept on writing
And I saw a look of satisfaction
At last there was some print to show
For all the earnest action

A line or two dried dark
And stayed as black as black can be
But strangely the next paragraph
Became invisible to see

The Book was getting fuller -
The angel's records true
But most of it was blank
With just few words coming through

I knew there was some reason
But as hard as I could think
I couldn't grasp the significance
Of that Eternal Ink

The mystery burned within me
And I finally dared to ask
The angel to explain to me
Of the amazing task

And what I heard was frightful
As turned the angel's head
Looking directly at me
The angel eventually said:

"I know you stand and wonder,
At what my writing's worth
But Allah has told me to record,
The lives of those on earth

The Book that I am filling,
Is an accurate account Of every word and action,
And to what they do amount

And since you've been watching,
I must tell you what is true
The details of my journal,
Are the strict accounts of you

Allah asked me to watch you,
As each day you work and play
I see you as you visit the Mosque;
I see you as you pray

But I was told to document,
Your life through all the week
I wrote when you were arrogant;
I wrote when you were meek

I recorded all your attitudes,
Whether they were good or bad
I was sorry that I had to write,
The things that make Allah sad

So now I will tell the wonder
Of this Eternal Ink
As the reason for its mystery
Should make you stop and think

This Ink that Allah created
To help me keep my journal
Will only keep a record
Of things that are Eternal

So much of life is wasted
On things that matter not
Far from all the searching
Of knowledge to be sought

I just keep writing faithfully
And let the Ink do the rest
For it is able to decide
What's useless and what is best

And Allah ordained that as I write
Of all you do and say
Your deeds that count for nothing
Will just disappear away

When Books are opened someday
As sure as Heaven is true
Allah's Eternal Ink
Will tell what mattered to you

If you just lived to please yourself,
The pages will be bare
And Allah will issue no reward for you,
When you get there

In fact, you'll be embarrassed -
You'll hang your head in shame
Because you did not give yourself,
In love to Allah's Name

Yet maybe there will be a few
Recorded lines that stayed
Showing times you truly cared,

Sincerely loved and prayed

But you will always wonder
As you enter Heaven's door
How much more glad you would be
if only you had done more

For I record as Allah sees
I don't stop to even think
Because the truth is always written
With Allah's Eternal Ink."

As I heard the angel's story,
I fell down and wept and cried
For as yet I still was dreaming
I hadn't actually died

I said: "Oh angel, tell Allah
That as soon as I awake
I'll live my life for Allah -
I'll do all for His sake

I'll give in full surrender -
I'll do all He wants me to
I'll turn my back on self and sin
And whatever isn't true
Though the way seems long and rough
I promise to endure
I'm determined to pursue the things
That are Holy, Clean and Pure

With Allah as my Helper
I will win lost souls to thee
For I know they'll live with Allah
For all eternity

And that's what really matters
When my life on earth is gone
That I will stand before Allah
And hear Him say: Well-Done

For is it really worth it -
As my life lies at the brink?
And I realize Allah keeps Books
With His Eternal Ink

Should all my life be focused -
On things that turn to dust?
From now on I'll serve Allah
I can - I will - I must!

I'm giving all to Allah
I now have seen the link
I saw an angel write my life
With Allah's Eternal Ink.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Life is beauty, admire it.

Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.

Life is a game, play it.

Life is a promise, fulfill it.

Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.

Life is a tragedy, confront it.

Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is luck, make it.

Life is too precious, do not destroy it.

Life is life, fight for it.

Below is a must read poem for all fellow
Muslims. O Readers!! take a moral from this poem, Because you never know when
it's your time to go.
OPERATION DEATH

’Twas early in the morning at four. When death knocked upon a bedroom door.
”Who is there?” the sleeping one cried. ”I’m Izrael, let me inside.”

At once, the man began to shiver, as one sweating in deadly fever,
he shouted to his sleeping wife, ”Don’t let him take away my life.”

”Please go away, O Angel of Death! Leave me alone, I’m not ready yet.
My family on me depend, give me a chance, O please prepense!”

The Angel knocked again and again, ”Friend! I’ll take your life without a pain,
’Tis your soul Allah require, I come not with my own desire.

Bewildered, the man began to cry, ”O Angel! I’m so afraid to die
I’ll give you gold and be your slave, don’t send me to the unlit grave.”

”Let me in, O Friend!” the Angel said, ”Open the door, get up from your bed.
If you do not allow me in,I will walk through it, like a Jinn.”

The man held a gun in his right hand, ready to defy the Angel’s stand,
”I’ll point my gun, towards your head. You dare come in, I’ll shoot you dead.”

By now, the Angel was in the room, Saying, “O Friend! prepare for your doom.
Foolish man, Angels never die, Put down your gun and do not sigh.”

”Why are you afraid! Tell me O man, to die according to Allah’s plan?
>Come, smile at me, do not be grim, be happy to return to Him.”
”O Angel! I bow my head in shame, I had no time to take Allah’s name.

From morn till dusk I made my wealth, not even caring for my health.”
”Allah’s commands I never obeyed nor five times a day I ever prayed.
A Ramadan came and Ramadan went but no time had I to repent.”

”The Haj was already fard on me But I would not part with my money. All
charities I did ignore taking usury more and more.”

”Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine with flirting women I sat to dine. O
Angel! I appeal to you spare my life for a year or two.”

”The Laws of Qur’an I will obey, I’ll begin Salat this very day. My Fast
and Haj, I will complete, and keep away from self conceit.”

”I will refrain from usury, and give all my wealth to charity, wine and
wenches I will detest, Allah’s oneness I will attest.”

”We Angels do what Allah demands, we cannot go against His commands
Death is ordained for everyone, father, mother, daughter or son.”
”I’m afraid, this moment is your last, now be reminded, of your past.
>I do understand your fears but it is now too late for tears.”

”You lived in this world, two score and more, Never did you, your people
adore. Your parents, you did not obey, hungry beggars, you turned away.”

”Your two ill-gotten, female offsprings, in night-clubs, for livelihood
they sing. Instead of making more Muslims, you made your children
non-Muslims.”

”You ignored the Mu’athin’s Athaan, nor did you read the Holy Qur’an.
Breaking promises all your life, backbiting friends, and causing strife.”

”From hoarded goods, great profits you made, and your poor workers, you
underpaid. Horses and cards were your leisure, money-making was your
pleasure.”

”You ate vitamins and grew more fat, with the very sick, you never sat. A
pint of blood you never gave, which could a little baby save.”

”O human, you have done enough wrong, you bought good properties for a
song. When the farmers appealed to you, you did not have mercy, ‘tis >true.”

”Paradise for you? I cannot tell, undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.
There’s no time for you to repent, I’ll take your soul for which I’m sent.”

The ending, however, is very sad. Eventually the man became mad.
With a cry, he jumped out of bed. And suddenly, he fell down dead.

O Reader! take a moral from here, you never know, your end may be near.
Change your living and make amends, for heaven, on your deeds depends.

The Tears Never did Stop
by Shazah Sabuhi
This Poem is about Masjid Ul'Haram where Muslims travel to from around the world to perform Hajj and Umrha. It is the largest mosque in the world, in the centre of which is the Holy Kaba. Masjid Ul' Haram is...what can I say....simply beyond words. I have seen many pictures of it but when I first saw it with my own eyes in Dec, 96 the first thought to run thru' my mind was, 'No photograph does this place justice.' It is so beautiful...glittering marble, chandeliers....the throngs of worshippers. It was love at first sight...there are no words to describe its charm, beauty and appeal adequately. Seeing is believing.

I set my foot inside the Holy Mosque,
Upon the cold, white marble, Where day and night, People
sat worshipping, praying,
The tears never did stop.
Right and left, the Mosque being cleaned,
Shining, not a particle of dust, The carvings of marble, the plates of gold,
The symmetry of the whole Mosque, the largest of it all,
The tears never did stop.
Then came the grandest of the whole,
The center of one's life and concerns, The big, Beautiful House of Allah,
Covered with black cloth and gold leaf writing,
The tears never did stop.
My life flashed past me, the good and the bad,
such a feeling I had never felt before,
A special bondage to the Almighty-A sudden chill in me,
The tears never did stop.
Looking around, the large floor was filled with people,
Circling the beautiful house, loudly chanting,
People sitting, praying for forgiveness,
Praying for another chance to lead a better life,
The tears never did stop.
Taking a deep breath, I entered the never ending crowd,
With my heart pouring out all the prayers I could think of,
Begging for forgiveness of my sins,
Praying to become a better individual
The tears never did stop.
I ran around the black house,
The ancient, black house built by Ibrahim centuries ago,
Where not one second passes when people are not circling it, praying,
The tears never did stop.
I got closer as did my heart, mind and soul,
I touched the sacred house, hands trembling,
Knowing I was as close as ever to the Almighty,
The tears never did stop.
It was amazing, everyone centered their attention only on worshipping
All worldly concerns forgotten, focused on praying,
Forgetting everyday matters and happenings,
The tears never did stop.
The rituals were tiring, took strength and time,
But what is a few hours for our Giver? Our Creator?
For what He has given us, the worldly goods, the luxuries,
A few hours of forgiveness for our sins,
The tears never did stop.

O You Who Believe
by Abu Sulayman

Speak kind to the people ,enjoin what is good and forbid evil

Perform your daily salat and give alms, and say nothing but the truth about Muhammad alaihis salam.

How could you insist upon sin and transgression, after Allah gave you Islam continuously bestowing blessings.

I'm thinking akhira is priceless and the dunya is lowly , while im performing 2 sunna rakat ..very slowly

Only for the face of Allah I submit to the truth , prostrating , broke in poverty , im destitute.

Now Al-Quodoos is free from all imperfections , I call upon Al-Muhaymin for my protection.

The kuffar wish they could liva a thousand years too, they disbelieve ,and Allah sees everything we do.

Everyday the situation gets more sticky, as they follow shaitan and his magic and trickery.

Now which one of the blessings from your Lord will you deny, and where could you find a refuge from Allah where you could hide?

the fact is refuge is only with the Creator, Al-khalic, the most merciful, the originator.

the one who knows the innermost secrets in the chests, possessor or majesty and benevolence

The Light of Submission

by izzi 786

To know and recognize the truth, is in itself a blessing and a proof of guidance. But we must be careful not to attritube any power to ourselves as we are only its carriers.

I walk along a sandy beach
The sound of the sea fills my ears
The sun strains through the grayness of the sky
The sand feels warm beneath my feet
I shiver from the coolness of the wind

I found a golden shell some years ago
I recognized its beauty
And held it tight
It stayed with me o'er rocks and sand
Storm and calm
Only once I dropped it
But quickly picked it up again

Now it’s part of me
Its golden rays shine from within
Its light reaching out to others
Through my submission
If ever I think its beauty belongs to me
I may lose it forever
For I am only a carrier of its light

In Allah's name

Everything in and around us - everything that exists which we don't know about - all belongs to Allah, the Creator of all. Everything we do therefore, should be in His name.

In the name of Allah we are born
In His name we live
and in His name we die

Our shadows prostrate to their Creator morning and evening
without our consent
Birds and animals usher in the times of prayer

Birds circumambulate the Ka'ba
while migrating birds stretch forth their wings
finding their way by Allah's Mercy

Only to feel unrest and leave once more
ever-searching, traveling discontent until they die

We, also wander
some blindly
while others see

Blessed Test

I woke up this morning and knew that today,
the sun would not be shining and the clouds would be gray.
As I stepped outside, rain fell upon my head.
My car wouldn't start so I walked to school instead.

I forgot all of my assignments; I failed all of my tests.
I dropped my head in disgust and asked the Lord for one request.
Lord, why is it that things won't go my way?
He gently replied, "Dear one it is because you didn't
thank me yesterday.

I woke you up and enabled you to see the sun again.
I gave you shelter, protected your family,
and even let you make a new friend.
I blessed you far greater than I ever had before.
But you were too busy to thank me once more.

You didn't feel sick because I maintained your health.
You had money in your pocket because I maintained your wealth.
You had shoes on you feet and clothes to wear, too.
You had plenty of food to eat, and what did you do?

You ignored me and went about your tasks.
But when you wanted something you never hesitated to ask.
I was there when you needed me, and that wasn't too long ago.
But when things started going your way,
it was me you did not know.

As if that weren't enough, I provided your favorite luxuries.
This was something I didn't have to do-they
weren't even necessities.
And when it was time to get on your knees and
show your gratitude,
You decided that after such a fulfilling day,
you weren't in the mood.

So I decided to give you just a little test.
To show you how it would feel to stop being blessed."
I began to realize what the Lord was saying.
And when I got home, I fell to my knees and started praying.

He said, "You have learned and you know I do forgive.
But remember to remember this day as long as you shall live.
I love filling your life with joy, and your pain I'll alleviate it.
But just a simple thank you would show how much
you appreciate it."

Allah’s Gift

Some embrace it with all heart and soul
Because its knowledge is wisdom
And it endures like gold,

There are some who may take it
As a title to wear
Not recognizing the righteousness
And the responsibility it bears,

Some are afraid of its discipline and truth
Because it goes against some
Of the teaching of their youth,

Its revelation happens to be a true way of life
And if strictly followed will keep you
On the straight and away from strife,

To praise one God letting His be done
But knowing that there is no compromise
Is frightening to some,

It has had many Prophets and Messengers to date
Who have battled criticism, poverty, racism and hate,

Through these trials Muslims strive on
Knowing Allah leads us strong
Allah never leads us wrong.

Allah

I tried to find Him on the Christian cross, but He
was not there; I went to the Temple of the
Hindus and to the old pagodas, but I could not
find a trace of Him anywhere.
I searched on the mountains and in the valleys
but neither in the heights nor in the depths was I
able to find Him. I went to the Ka'bah in Mecca,
but He was not there either.
I questioned the scholars and philosophers but
He was beyond their understanding.
I then looked into my heart and it was there
where He dwelled that I saw Him; He was
nowhere else to be found.

An Ocean without Shore

I marveled at an Ocean without shore,
and at a Shore that did not have an ocean;
And at a Morning Light without darkness,
and at a Night that was without daybreak;
And then a Sphere with no locality
known to either fool or learned scholar;
And at an azure Dome raised over the earth,
circulating 'round its center -- Compulsion;
And at a rich Earth without o'er-arching vault
and no specific location, the Secret concealed . . . .

I courted a Secret which existence did not alter;
for it was asked of me: "Has Thought enchanted you?"
-- To which I replied: "I have no power over that;
I counsel you: Be patient with it while you live.
But, truly, if Thought becomes established
in my mind, the embers kindle into flame,
And everything is given up to fire
the like of which was never seen before!"
And it was said to me: "He does not pluck a flower
who calls himself with courtesy 'Freeborn'."
"He who woos the belle femme in her boudoir, love-beguiled,
will never deem the bridal-price too high!"

I gave her the dower and was given her in marriage
throughout the night until the break of Dawn --
But other than Myself I did not find. -- Rather,
that One whom I married -- may his affair be known:
For added to the Sun's measure of light
are the radiant New Moon and shining Stars;
Like Time, dispraised - though the Prophet (Blessings on him!)
had once declared of your Lord that He is Time.

Ya Muslimeen Dont be afraid

The Muslims today are in a weakened state,

What we need to do is ask why,

Our beloved Prophet and his Companians spread the Deen of Al Islam near & far,

What gave these brave men and women their drive?

Look at ourselves and think how cowardice we are,

Our men stay behind on the land of the enemies of Allah,

Our women are content with this,

Ya Muslimeen our children, o our children, they resemble our enemies more and more each day,

They resemble those who make partners with Allah,

Those who take on the attributes of Allah,

Ya Rubbi,

Ya Kariim,

My beloved brothers and sisters,

Be patient in serving Allah,

Our reward is not for this life but the next,

'and certainly we shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits but give glad tiding to AsSabiroon' 2:155

Ya Muslimeen run back towards Jannah,

Run away from the fire of hell,

Ya Muslimeen come forward and submit to Allah's laws and commands,

Don’t fear the disbelievers,

For your life is with Allah,

To Hime you belong and to Him is your return,

ALLAHU AKBAR!

Ya Muslimeen,

Be kind and have love,

Be loyal to one another,

Love for Allah's sake is a love that surpasses all love,

Surpasses all love based upon nationalism, tribe or race,

Islam came to rid mankind of this,

ALLAHU AKBAR!

Ya Muslimeen let us work together,

Aim for our own homeland,

Where Allah's laws and commands will reign supreme,

Ya Muslimeen unite upon our eman,

My heart sheds tears because of our division,

The shayton's plan,

Ya Muslimeen, unite upon our kalimat of 'la ilaha ilallah',

According to our Prophet, Mohamed ArRasolollah

A blessed month is casting its shadow upon us
A night of this month is better than a thousand months
Bear with patience for the sake of Ar-Rahman
It’s a continuous training to strengthen our Imaan.

Glory be to Allah who sent Ramadan as a mercy to mankind
Its a purification of our soul, our heart, and our mind
With the most sincere devotion and love we fast
To be cleansed and free from sins of the past

Glorified is He, who choseth this holy month,
To test our sabr and fill our hearts with warmth
Of his Divine Light, His blessings shall glow,
The Seer of the unseen, all He does know

Ya Allah! For thee, let my breath be more pleasant than musk
Ya Allah! For thee, let me be thankful when day turns to dusk
My thoughts and heart are purified, my eyes truly see…
This blessed month, the month of spiritual rhapsody!

Ya Allah! For thee, my life I shall live!
Ya Allah! For thee, my soul I shall give!
In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Kind,
Praise be to Allah, who sent Ramadan as a gift to mankind

Two Voices Inside Me
Contributed by Anfaal

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

As I walked to my bedside

A voice gently said: wake up for fajr and glorify your Lord.

I set my alarm for fajr and then went to sleep.

A few minutes passed, then the alarm went off.

I awoke and remembered my fajr

and to glorify my Lord

But then a voice whispered:

sleep! Sleep! The night is long

I lay in my bed, listening to the two voices

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

As I went to the masjid I prayed two rakaa's

After the masjid I would buy a gold set

I looked in my poket, I found twenty-pounds

Oh no! I though I'm six-pounds short

I looked around and noticed a box,

it was labelled `charity box'

A voice strongly whispered:

take the six-pounds from the charity box!

No-one will notice

Another voice gently said:

Allaah is watching you from above,

leave the gold set- it's a worldly thing,

give the twenty-pounds in charity instead,

you're reward is with Allaah in the next abode.

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

I had tidied the kitchen, and finished my homework

I sat on the settee with nothing to do, my free-time had come

What could I do?

A voice slowly whispered:

watch the TV everyone's watching it, you're left out.

Another voice gently said:

read the Qur'an, you'll earn some reward,

leave the TV, it's a waste of time, you see it's a worldly thing.

Two voices inside me

One good, one bad

Two voices inside me

What's the difference between the two?

One will make me happy,

The other will make me sad

Two voices inside me

Which one should I choose?

At the end of the day before going to sleep

I asked myself: what did I do today?

I woke up for fajr and glorified my Lord

I went to the masjid and gave some charity

I read the Qur'an and didn't waste my time

I kept away from the worldly things

I learnt that inside me I had two voices, I

learnt what was the difference from the two.

One always whispered to me evil things-

and that was the whisperings of the shaytaan

The other voice always gently spoke- and that was

the Angel reminding me to do good

All praise be to Allaah, I chose the voice of the Angel

All praise be to Allaah, it made me happy

All praise be to Allaah I had beaten shaytaan

All praise be to Allaah I had been guided

May Allaah guide me and guide you,

and help us to choose the right path,

and to forbid the evil whisperings of the shaytaan.

Lets We Prepare for Tomorrow Before it Late.

WHAT IS ISLAM?
Islam is a way of life, try it.
Islam is a gift, accept it.
Islam is a journey, complete it.
Islam is a struggle, fight for it.
Islam is a goal, achieve it.
Islam is an opportunity, take it.
Islam is not for sinners, overcome it.
Islam is not a game, don't play with it.
Islam is not a mystery, behold it.
Islam is not for cowards, face it.
Islam is not for the dead, live it.
Islam is a promise, fulfill it.
Islam is a duty, perform it.
Islam is a treasure (the Prayer), pray it.
Islam is a beautiful way of life, see it.
Islam has a message for you, hear it.
Islam is love , love it.

Let Us Thank ALLAH-------!!

Let us thank ALLAH,
For the things taht we have,
For the caring people around us,
For the friends that we have,For the Paryers that are heard,
For the prayers that are not,
For the wishes which are fulfilled,For the wishes that are not.For He knwos what should be given,Ane what should be notHe is aware of evrything.Surely, we are not.
Some lovely things are lost,
Some lovely people are gone,
Some dreams are broken, shattered
And sometime we're left alone.
All of them are countable,
All of them are few.
His blessings neither countable,
Nor are they few,
So, why shouldn't we thank HIM?
He is kind and merciful.

THE SAVIOUR OF HUMANITY

In the dark streets of a cityWhere people lived the life of a pity
In the huge black pole
Where only big fishes had rule
In the dark era of evil
Where people had no gud will
There came - the Prophet(P.B.U.H)
There came such a nice person
Who gave brotherhood's vision
There came such a great man
Due to whome equality began
His mother named him Ahmed
His father named him Muhammad
His people called him honest
They also called him truthful
His god made him friend
He changed the old trends
All the difficulties can be solved
If his ways are invovled
Our glory is possible
If his methods are made feasible
And hence will be our salvation
And, wee'll all go to heaven.

INSHALLAH

Hijab
dont know who wrote it..but I liked it

U Look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way i'm dressed

U know me not for what is inside,
U judge the clothing I wear with pride

My body is not for ur eyes 2 hold,
U must speak 2 my mind not my feminine mould

I am an individual I'm no man's slave,
It's Allah's pleasure that I only crave

I have a voice so will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word

"O ye women, wrap close ur cloak,
So u wont be bothered by ignorant folk"

Man doesnt tell me to dress this way,
It's a law from God that I do obey

Oppressed is something I'm truly not,
4 liberation is what I've got

It was given 2 me many years ago,
With the right 2 prosper, the right to grow

I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degree's

For God Himself gave us liberty,
When He sent Islam, to U & ME

I REMEMBER

Back in the days in makkah

A blessed town also known

As bakkah.

Came a man with plain truth

La shakka!

Few believed him, mostly weak

Darul arrqam to, they sneak

I remember!

Ammar bin yassir

Met suhaib arrumi

At the doorstep.

Amongst the early

Was ibn umm abd

Known as Abdullah

Ibn mas’ud.

A qari like no other.

I remember!

Jundub ibn junadah

From the town of ghifar

With the tongue like no other

Called abu dhar.

I remember!

The seeker of truth

From Isfahan, Persia

Salman got a place higher

What a warrior!

I remember!

Mus’ab umair

A good man, who left

His mama and her money

For a test of honey

Of Janna. Never to be

Lonely.

I remember!

Bilal the Blackman

At badr he killed the badman

What a payback for an ex slaveman

Such a strong man!

And Aamir ibn Abdullah

Known as abu ubaidah

Ibn jarrrah. Hard man

Who killed his father

For Allah.

I remember!

The son of husail

Brother of safwan

Keeper of secrets

Am talking about who?

Hudhaifa al yamann

Most times I wish

I came as an ansar

Or a muhajir, for all

They did to the friend

Of abubakar and umar

O’ sahabas!

I love you

For all the sacrifices

From pain, turmoil and torture

RadiyAllahu-ta’ala-anhum-jamii’an!

Til we meet inshaAllah

YA MAN YARA

Oh! who see the mosquito spread its wings
In the darkness of the black night

And see its vein in its upper chest
And the brain in these thin bones

And see blood running in its jugular vein
Moving from one joint to another

Forgive me
For what I have previously done

And see the embryo nurturing inside it
In the darkness of its innards without looking

And see its footsteps
In its quick and rushing movements

And see and hears other beings
In the bottom of the dark and huge sea

Forgive me
For what I have previously done

Last Breath

from those around,i hear a cry
a mouthful sob, a hopless sigh..
i hear their footstep leaving slow,
and then i know my soul must fly..
a chilly wind, begins to blow
withing my soul, from head to toe..
and then, last breath, escapes my lips
its time to leave and i must go!
so its true but its too late,
they said each soul has its given date..
when it must leaves its body's core,
and meet with its eternal fate..
oh mark the words tht i do say,
who knows tommorow could be ur day...
at last it comes, to heaven or hell,
decide which now do not delay..
come on my brothers let us pray,
decide which now, do not delay..
Oh God oh God, i can not see
my eyes r blind, am i still me?
or has my soul been led astray
and forced to pay a priceless fee.
alas to dust, we all return
some shall rejoice while others burn
if only I, knew that before
the line grew short and came my turn
and now as beneath the sod,
they lay me with my record flawed..
they cry not knowing, i cry worse
for they go home i face my God..
oh marks the word that i do say,
who knows tommorow could be ur day
at last it comes to heaven or hell,
decide which now do not delay..
come on my brothers let us pray,
decide which now do not delay...

This life we are told is indeed a test
so every nation with prophets was blessed
124 thousand we learn from Hadith
prophets came with the message of peace

They had the same message, Allah is one
he has no partners and has no son
Do good deeds and worship your Lord,
help the needy with what you can afford

David, Jesus, Abraham, Moses and more
are some of the prophets that came before
They were only men we mustn't confuse
selected by Allah to bring the good news

After these Prophets had passed away
people got mixed up and went astray
They changed the message to suit their needs
worshipped idols and start bad deeds

Another Prophet Allah would send
and their way of life he would amend
This pattern repeated again and again
until Muhammed the final messenger came

A madman, a poet, a magician or what
all of the above he was not
His honesty and character they had all seen
this pure noble soul they called Al-Amin

Muhammed the truthful, was indeed sincere
Allah's final messenger to many it was clear
He had been appointed to guide mankind
to illuminate ignorant hearts so blind

The message was beautiful and so pure
to the hearts of mankind the wisdom did lure
It filled their lives with love and compassion
Muhammed words? No it can only be revelation

The prophet himself could not read or write
yet Allah gave him this illuminating light
It entered their hearts purifying their souls
and the faithful scribes wrote it on scrolls

In Ramadan the whole Quran was recited and said
even today by millions of Muslims it is read
Every word was recorded like the prophet was told
the exact same message fourteen hundred years old

The Quran is now for all mankind a guide,
it can never be changed and will forever abide,
Its a promise of Allah - an undisputed fact
the message sent to Muhammed will remain intact

No more idols or lords we should erect
the oneness of Allah we should respect
Part of the first pillar known as Tawheed
recited la-illah ha illallah the Muslim creed

We should pray Salah like the prophet taught
and ask for Allah's help like the Prophet sought
To taqwah and unity this will indeed give rise
the second pillar of Islam, the spiritual exercise

We must fast in the whole month of Ramadan
and do good deeds as many as we can
This gift of life we begin to appreciate
by not drinking or eating not even a date

Ramadan is a month Muslims eagerly await
peace, unity and happiness it does create
removing the blinkers a fresh outlook we see
this wonderful month, pillar number three

We will be asked about the life we spent
if we did good to heaven we will be sent
this will be decided on the Judgment day
and in heaven or hell we will forever stay

No more guides or prophets will be sent again
instead we have the Quran so deep yet plain
If we get confused to the Quran we turn
a message from the most high from which to learn

For all mankind and forever more
wisdom and teachings it does store
To eternal life it opens the door
the words of our creator that we cant ignore

There are millions of Muslims in the world today
the fastest growing religion experts say
Together to the one true God Muslims Pray
by following the Quran, its only Allah we Obey

The importance of Salaat.....

Salaat is a basic pillar of Islam

It is mentioned again and again in the Quran

The importance of prayer is in seven hundred places

But in the Mosque, do you see many young faces?

Praying in the mosque gives 27 times the reward

Pray with the intention that you’re pleasing your Lord

When you walk to the Mosque, just remember within

You gain a reward and you’re losing a sin

For every step towards your destination

This is a blessing from Allah SWT to his creation

The Quran has foretold, that before you are dead

‘say your prayers before your prayers are said’

our Prophet SAWS said about those who miss prayer

fifteen punishments they’ll have to bear

six in this life, three on passing away

three in the grave and three on judgements day

for missing Fajr at the start of the day

the glow of the face is taken away

the punishment for missing the salaat of Zohar

there will be no blessing from your income no more

for missing Asr, the middle prayer of the day

the strength of the body is taken away

by missing Maghrib, remember one thing

you will not be benefited by your offspring

for missing Ishaa at the end of the day

the peace of your sleep will be taken away

while seeing elders pray at the mosque door

remember as a young person, your reward is 70 times more

read Salaat punctually, read it with care

on Judgement day, we will be asked about prayer

that’s the first question, so take this advice

Salaat is the key to paradise

spread this word to Muslim sisters and brothers

Salaat will separate Muslims from others

Salaat is a blessing which Allah SWT gave

it will intercede and protect us in the grave

when it comes eventually, to the day of rising

the believers body washed by Wudhu will be shining

for the believers who are regular in offering Salaat

it becomes a light of guidance on the As-Siraat*

don’t miss the prayer Asr at any cost

it will be like your family and wealth is lost

the Ayat-ul-Kursi after fard, should be read

it will lead you to paradise (insha Allah) after you’re dead

not reading Salaat will lead you to hell

surrounded by serpents in a deep well

read your Salaat whilst still in your prime

and read the Durood Shareef** in your spare time

you’ll get ten rewards, the Lord (Insha Allah) will accept your pleas

and you’ll be closer to Allah SWT by ten more degrees

so embrace Islam with all your heart

and remember the key is reading Salaat

This is the story of an average human
From his story there is so much to learn

"I work through life working day and night
Let me tell you of my miserable plight
Before that, let me thank Allah Most Merciful too
That's why I'm sharing my story with you

From young I was told I had to be the best
I must learn to score for my exams and tests
I studied hard to be the top in class
So that my friends will respect me with all the fuss

In my youth days, I was actually insecure
So much temptations and many are impure
I prayed sparingly but it didn't help me
Why couldn't I feel that Allah was watching me?

I wanted to be the cream of the cake
I didn't allow myself to make a single mistake
I wanted more friends and also be praised
When I didn't get complimented, I felt so dazed
I began to doubt myself again and again
Was I not good enough or was I insane?
I was feeling inadequate for my lack of looks
Was I too fat, short, or did my smile give the spooks?
I learnt to dress up in trendy clothes bought from stores
I wanted people to look at me and say 'wow' in awe

I wanted to be adored, praised and be popular
Success to me is to be top scholar
I wanted to shower myself in fame
I also hoped to earn a big name
I studied hard and topped my school high
I believe that to make friends, success is a tool

Whenever I was with friends and my date was just beside
I felt the pressure to display my witty side
I'm afraid my friends would leave me if I'm not nice enough
So I bought them gifts and other good stuff
Branded clothes, car, intelligence and friends indeed
You may think I have all that I need
But I'm still unhappy inside and I don't even know why
Was I not good enough, too ugly or too shy?

At work, I pleased my boss to show him I was the best
I treated my colleagues lunch and sacrificed all my rest
I was afraid that my boss disliked me if I lazed about
In front of him, I did my best and tried to stand out
Then I climbed the corporate ladder and be my own boss
Finally, I was successful but I was still in a loss
I was cheerful outside but scared inside
I was not even sure what I'm doing is right

I looked around to see all my best friends
I wonder if they still like me if my wealth ends?
I cannot bear to face rejection or even fail
If I become poor and old, will my friendships be stale?
I work hard, but who am I trying to impress?
The fear of losing my reputation is causing me stress
I want friends to respect me forever and ever
I could imagine my friendship to sever

But alas! My business failed me terribly
I was down with illness and suffered painfully
All the people whom I thought were faithful friends
Left me because my status has no stands
I'm left alone and wonder whether it is true?
To make good friends, wealth matters too?

I looked at the side of my bed and saw the Qur'an
Guilt enveloped me because the Qur'an I have read none
Since I was alone and feeling so bored
I explored the Qur'an to know about Allah the Lord

True Muslims friends start to befriend me
It doesn't matter whoever I'll be
They accept me and love me despite my flaws
I don't have to make them like me by using force
I don't have to impress Allah with my witty charm
I already know Allah loves us and protects us from harm

With Allah's help, we can attain peace in self
So let's put doubt back in Satan's shelf
If there are problems with work and with men
Please remember that it's part of Allah's plan
Ask from Allah because He listens to us always
Allah will help us with His Kindness and Grace

I met a man who is unfortunately blind
He then advised me with words so kind
He said, 'Love yourself and be grateful for what you are
You owe it to Allah for coming this far

Allah loves us and makes us Muslims
But many people don't appreciate it, it seems
It doesn't matter if we're poor or earn less
Allah loves who we are and He cares
Don't do good deeds if you do it for show
Or else your spiritual status will sink below

If you're humble, do good deeds and pray to Allah Most Wise
You can earn yourself a place in Paradise
Good Muslims overcome worries and insecurity
They are unfazed even if they are treated with hostility

Why be a slave to affluence and glamour?
Why worry if we are not witty with humour?
Always be yourself, dear brother, have no pretence
Allah will still love you, even if you don't have any fans
Why be afraid, dear brother, when friends shun away
When Allah is there for you it's always that way.'

After the blind man left, my mind started working
I was still surprised and truth starts coming
It seems that I may be a boss or lying here poor
but good Muslims greet me with salaam, a smile and no fear

I kept wondering, what is success to me?
Is it about having friends, or earning a good degree?
I had all these and yet I was not satisfied
Could it be because that Allah was not on my side?

Then I realize that I have been foolish
My INSECURITY is the one that was my leash
Why was I ungrateful to Allah Most Great?
Allah's helping us all the way as Fate

Oh! I'm ashamed for being so proud
When my success was actually a passing cloud!
Now I realize my great big mistake
So I do more good deeds now with sincerity and no fake

Let's learn from this life and tread the virtuous road
Remember that this world is only a temporary abode
Now I live through my life devoted to the Islamic cause
And repent, so Allah will love me despite my flaws."

Remember true success is not about having lots of friends
In fact, it is about passing Allah's tests
Happiness is not about showing off your generous part
In fact, it's about the ATTITUDE of your heart

Say: 'I like who I am and I'm glad to be me
I love being a Muslim and Allah sets my heart free!
I can feel in my mind and in my little heart bone
I confess - with Allah around, I know I'm never alone'.

Once I looked up to the sky
in the night and I saw
bright star sparkling there
in the darkness of the night
and I said who are you?
what are you doing over there
tell me please,
tell me who put you over there
she looked down at me
with a smile on her face
like a rose in the shadow of the bush
little one don't you know?
why it is that I am standing over here?
it is Allah who made me
and made you and the earth
then I said pretty one
tell me please tell me how
how to be just like you
very pure, very high, very nice
once again pretty face shined again
little one listen well
little one take good care
fear Allah every where
worship him night and day
then I said pretty face pray for me to Allah
I thank you pretty face
I love you for your care

There was a time in my youth,
When Islam was only a custom.
They said "say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..
And pray, you'll go to Heaven."

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,
Just a word, and simple act.
Thereafter I'm absorbed in this world again,
With my 'assured' place in Paradise intact.

But this was not to be my fate
For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.
I learnt of a man who struggled so hard
When his mission was from the start.

The story of someone who had morals,
Spoke gently, kindness he knew.
Never fearing to say what's right,
His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk
To comfort a crying child.
To mend his clothes, or do the chores,
Never complaining, he always smiled.

A living he made with his bare hands,
The same that held his mighty sword.
Valour shone from the edge of his blade,

His smell was always of musk,
And cleanliness he kept at his best.
Stark contrast with the heroes of today,
Who stink of beer and sweat.

He held the hands of his companions.
Unashamed to play with many children.
So modest, so humble, a perfect example,
That strangers could not recognise him.

His eyes slept little for nights were precious,
His prayers he treasured much greater.
To pray Tahajjud in the depths of night,
Seeking forgiveness, and nearness to his Creator.

He broke his tooth for me at Uhud,
And bled for me at Ta'if.
He cried for me, tears of concern,
Just so I could have this belief.

His enemies admired his teachings,
Uniting every religion, every clan.
Till ISLAM came to every corner of the world,
O, but indeed he was only a man.

To own a house, or build his wealth
Was not his main priority.
To establish ISLAM was more essential,
To bring us under a Higher Authority.

Don't you want him to plea for your case,
When before ALLAH-The Judge-you stand?
Don't you wish to be around his fountain,
A burning desire to drink from his hand?

So I love him more than all creation,
My Leader, my Humble Prophet.
Muhammad (SAWS) was a mercy to all mankind,
And to me, he is MY BELOVED !

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said,

"We can't keep Muslims from going to Mosque."

"We can't keep them from reading their Quran and knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Allah and his messenger Muhammad."

"Once they gain that connection with Allah, our power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their Mosques;

let them have their covered dish dinners,

BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Allah and his messenger Muhammad."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Allah and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."
"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive." "To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Allah and his messenger Muhammad."
"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."
"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."

Give them headaches too!

"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them story books to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Salat."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on Allah's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead. "Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Allah."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."

"It will work!" "It will work!"

It was quite a plan!
The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Muslims everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.

Having little time for their Allah or their families.
Having no time to tell others about the power of Allah and his messenger Muhammad to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
You be the judge!!!!!
Does "BUSY" mean:
B-eing
U-nder
S-atan's
Y-oke?
"....and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (satan). Verily, he is to you an open enemy ."
(Glorious Qur'aan 2:168)

When you are in pain,

and it seems like

no one understands;

When it has gotten exhausting

to even talk about the way

you are suffering'

remember ALLAH.

others may turn their

back on you,

but He never will.

You need explain

nothing to Him

He knows how you suffer

and He can see whats

in your heart.

Lean on Him

Put your faith on Him

He promissed tht He would

never forsake you,

and you can depend on Him.

Peace At Last

Walking through the woods on a snowy day,
Seeing the crystal blanket was so deep,
I made a wrong turn and lost my own way.
Sliding over the hill Allah made so steep,
Finding the perfect place where I could rest,
I sat down beneath a tree that looked best.
As I sat watching the snow calmly fall,
I then laid me down to give up my all.
Curling up to go to sleep on the ground,
Hearing the voice of my friend calling me,
No longer would I utter one more sound.
Death takes my hand and pulls me from the tree.
Escaping a thornful life for my gain,
I'll reach a home of peace that has no pain

Desert Rose

I began my journey the day I was born.
My name told my destiny.
Yet, it remained hidden for me to discover.
I traveled a long time to get to this moment.
So many cactuses I stumbled over in the dark.
No star lighted my path-- I was not yet awake.
Naivety guided me into sandstorms that made wounds in my soul.
Ignorance blinded me as the cactus' thorns scratched me.
However, these wounds propelled me forward and kept me on
a certain path.
One day, when I looked ahead, I saw an oasis.
A mirage, I thought, so I slowly walked towards it-- expecting
to be fooled again.
When I reached the mirage, I found a rose.
I touched it and found it was no dream.
Entranced by this rose, I placed it in the vase of my heart.
As it took root, it became a part of me.
My blindness lifted, for I could see the true Light.
Faith rested in my heart.
My desert rose led me to this destiny.
When I stray-- its paper thorns remind me to come back to
the straight path.
Each day it continues growing, it strengthens my heart and
my soul.
I water it with my prayers, my charity, my fasting.
This rose is here to stay--
It guides me to an eternal Garden.
My thoughts, my goals, my actions are preparing my place in
that Garden.
That is where I will rest my roots--
As long as this rose remains in my heart.

Advice on Friends!

A real friend wishes his companions well,
He's not one who allows them to get close to hell,
Always be careful of the friends you Choose,
So, in the end, Jannah you will not lose,
If you find your companion is not stopping your wrong,
then, be weary, his friendship is not strong.
If you see the pattern made,
that when you are under your friend's shade,
Your Imaan begins to fade,
Leave the worthless creation,
make friends with Allah, Surely that is a high station!.
A dervish who had knowledge of our present situation,
Once told his students the following dictation,
"The meeting of people will never enrich you,
save with the gibberish of useless gossip.
So diminish your meeting with people,
except for knowledge or to improve your condition"

They lie on the table side by side
The Holy Quran and the T.V. Guide.
One is well worn and cherished with pride.
Not the Quran, but the T.V. Guide.
One is used daily to help folks decide.
Not the Quran, but the T.V. Guide.
As the pages are turned, what shall they see?
what does it matter, turn on the T.V.
So they open the book in which they confide.
No, not the Quran, but the T.V. Guide.
The Word of Allah is seldom read.
aybe a verse before they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be.
Not from reading the Quran, from watching T.V.
So then back to the table side by side,
Lie the Holy Quran and the T.V. Guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the Word,
The plan of Istiqama is seldom heard.
But forgiveness of sin, so full and free,
Is found in the Quran, not on T.V.

Science and Faith
Once Science said to Faith:
"My eye can see all that is in this world;
The Entire world is within my net.
I am only concerned with material things,
What have I to do with spiritual matters?
I can strike a thousand melodies,
And openly proclaim all the secrets that I learn."
Faith said:
"With your magic even the waves in the sea are set ablaze,
You can pollute the atmosphere with foul, poisonous gases.
When you associated with me, you were light,
When you broke off from me, your light became fire.
You were of Divine origin,
But you have been caught in the clutches of Shaytan.
Come, make this wasteland a garden once again.
Borrow from me a little of my ecstasy,
And in the world set up a paradise.
From the day of creation we have been associates,
We are the low and high tunes of the same melody."

God and Life.
”Dear brother, do you realize
God watches us with x-ray eyes
He know what we are doing, He knows what we have done
We shouldn’t use His merciful gifts to indulge in sinful fun.”

”Don’t make me laugh with what you say
Whether God is there or not, I don’t care either way
It’s my time and I can do with it what I like
And by having fun is how I wish to spend my life.”

“Don’t talk like that, God is there,
He gave you what you have so you really should care
You should thank Him and not be proud
And stop talking with your head above the clouds.”

“Oh really? Thank Him? And for what??
He didn’t give me everything I’ve got
Most of the things I have earned through out my life
I have earned through my own struggle, my own strife.”

“And who gave you the gift of ability?
Who gave you your hands to earn money?
Who gave you those eyes so that you could see,
Which sums made four and which ones made three?”

”Oh…I never really thought of that…
But in the end, it is a fact
I didn’t have to pay for these, my ears to hear, my eyes to see
Whatever He gave me, I got for free.”

“You act like these gifts belong to you!
They are borrowed and you have to return them, too
So make the most of them by pleasing your Lord
And not by using them for idle works when you are bored.”

”Don’t speak as though I have to give them back today
I’ll use them for good later, but for now, I’ll use them for play.”

”Later may not exist. What if you died and later never came?
You should not take chances, use them to pray.”

”…That’s true, I suppose, tomorrow could be the end…
I should try and do some good before it descends…”

”You’ve almost got it right, but listen to me
Death is not the end, but the start of a return journey
Back to your Creator who helped to raise you from birth
Back to He who Created you from clay and from earth.”

”I see…it’s all starting to make sense to me…
But why do good and what is God’s relationship to me?”

”He has been with us through out our lives, to watch over and to guide
To make sure we don’t mess up and to watch our stride
To keep us going and make sure we do good before we die.
He is always there and to do good is to please
And when you do as he says, He blesses you with ease.”

“Okay so what you’re saying is that work really hard…
Do good things and be blessed by your Lord…
Pray and fast and give charity
Give your wealth to the poor and needy
But then you die…that’s a pity…”

”Yes, you die, but, brother, what’s wrong?”

”Well, when you die, all you did is gone…
You just sleep forever and no one knows what you’ve done
What’s the point in doing all that good when you could have done bad
You just go to your grave and then that’s that
No one will ever know about all the times you prayed
So why not just be bad if we all end up the same?”

”That’s not true, brother, and I’ll tell you why
There’s far more than sleep for after you die.
Remember all those stories that your parents used to tell?
Do good, go to Heaven, do bad, go to hell?
Well it’s true, and it applies to you,
You will be rewarded in the Hereafter too.”

”The Hereafter? Do we all end up there?”

“Yes, of course, it is only fair
God punishes those who didn’t believe
Or do righteous deeds
And rewards those who made the sacrifice
Of giving up their life to please Him through struggle and through strife.”

”So that’s it? That’s the deal?
God exists and He is real?
There’s a life after death and punishment and reward?
And when we die we all return to our Lord?”

“Bingo, you’ve got it. Now you know the truth.
God is always there and He watches over you.
So do good and refrain from evil and sin.
You will be blessed and purified from within.
And remember that life is fragile, handle it with care,
By never forgetting your Lord and by keeping it safe through prayer.”

A Poem of HOPE

Oh Muslim! Oh Muslim! Do not despair,
Allah places on each soul no burden greater than it can bear.

In times of sadness and grief, He will always be there
To keep you very affectionately under His Care.

Your trust and faith in Him you must declare
And never ever think that your Lord is unfair...

Because His Mercy will descend upon you and of this I'm sure you are unaware
So do not despair, because on the Day of Judgement you will have so much of reward... You will be a millionaire!

Praise to the Prophet Pbuh

(In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill
He pacified with tolerance and goodwill)

Among the confusion, the chaos and the pain
A man emerged and Muhammad was his name
And walking with nothing but Allah as his aid
And the mark of a prophet between his shoulder blades
In a cave in mount hira, the revelation came
Read o Muhammad, read in Allah’s name
May the blessings of Allah be on al-mustafaa (the selected one)
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa (the chosen one)

Muhammad, peace be upon his soul
The greatest of prophets, Islam was his only goal
Muhammad, salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
From among all the prophets, Muhammad was the last
As his was a mission of the greatest task
There was only moral degeneration
People clung to idol adoration
For all nations, he was al-mukhtaar (the preferred one)
So was he praised by Allah, al-ghaffaar
The bearer of glad tidings, al-basheer
Leading into light, as-seeraj-al-muneer (lamp of Radiance)

In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill
He pacified with tolerance and goodwill
The best of morals he aimed to attain
All he accomplished through suffering and pain
Reviving imaan as al-muthakkir (the reminder)
He is known in the Qur'aan as al-mud-dath-thir (covered up)
Only he was given the honour of miraaj
Unique was this glory to Muhammad as-seeraj (the lamp)

He was ad - da'ee illAllah hil azeem
All hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem
His mission complete, his held in great esteem
Allah praised him as bil-khuluqil azeem
May the blessings of Allah be on mustafaa
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa
So perfect were his morals, so justly did he rule
Darkness had vanished and the word was full of noor

Balagha ’l-ula bikamalihi
Kashafa ’d-duja bijamalihi
Hasunat jami‘u khisalihi
Sallu alayhi wa ‘alihi

Muhammad, peace be upon his soul,
The greatest of Prophets, Islam was his only goal.

BEAUTY OF ISLAM

Look at the beauty of Islam
Spreading around the world
Seek the prettiness of Islam
Like flowers blooming everywhere

Blooming and spreading gracefully
On the highland and on the valley
Take a look at the cause of the beauty,
There are servants working for their God!

And the beauty has been showered by the sweats of the companions
And the prettiness has been enriched with the coming of the reformers

Blooming and spreading gracefully
On the highland and on the valley
Take a look at the cause of the beauty,
There are servants working for their God!

And the beauty has been showered by the sweats of the companions
And the prettiness has been enriched with the coming of the reformers

Look at the beauty of Islam

Seek the prettiness of Islam
Like flowers blooming everywhere

All beauty, all fade away.........borrowed
All moonlight, returned to day....borrowed
All sunrise, all shooting stars....borrowed
All earthbound, barefeet and play
I know we're standing on,

Borrowed, borrowed Heaven

All heartache, all rivers cry....borrowed
Don't stay out too late tonight.......borrowed
I lovey you, don't want to hide........borrowed
You taste like, paradise,
I know I'm breathing in,

Borrowed, borrowed Heaven

You gave me life and I will give it back
But before I do, I'm gonna hold you tight
This is my prayer....

All body, all skin, all bone......borrowed
All silky, all smooth and warm....borrowed
All pleasure, all pain are one....borrowed
Almighty I stand alone,
I know I'm living in,

Borrowed, borrowed Heaven

Hell Fire

What got me to this point, why am I not surprised.
No need for rewind, my life flashes right before my eyes,
I wasn’t unlike most, and specifically speaking
Grew up Muslim in public school, Islamic school on the weekend,
Once in a while made it to Jummah maybe not even that,
As far as Islam is concerned it really wasn’t where my head was at,
But it was cool if I made grades on the home front,
my parents bought me anything I want.
The "fly-est" gear to help me cop them digits,
Then maybe when I am 30 I'll become religious

But later came, my disposition stayed the same,
Live your life one way too long it's not so easy to change
I refrained from the things that was said to help me gain
And indulge in the things that I should of obstained
Mixed up caught up, going out of my brain
I guess it's about the time, I ran into "Mary Jane" (Marijuana)
Inhalations in my breath, got my mind thinking less, oh yes,

And in this state I met the angel of death,
And then came the time for Allah to resurrect,
My soul from the clutches of a six foot depth
I find myself surrounded by the company I kept
Realizing full well this was the day of regret
And over the horizon, slowly it crept,
Anticipation thoughts racing and I'm losing my breath
And with all my might my right arm I stretch,

Imagine my reaction, I caught my book in my left,
I caught my book in my LEFT!!! I caught my book in my left!

Save me from the, Hell fire, Hell fire, Hell fire
Save me from the, Hell fire, Hell fire, Hell fire

Everybody will come to the hour
When we stand all alone in horror
And we hope that our deeds will help us through
Only one we can blame is ourselves
We were blessed with our youth and our health
And we wonder why our deeds are few

Everybody-gets a wake up call,

Take a warning before the nightfall
Use the time right now for making prayer
And on the day when there is no shelter
The good deeds are your only helpers
You'll be proud when you see that they're there.

I’m looking back now at my life on the earth
Been thinking about my deeds and what everything was worth
Like the time I was listening to a speech about Hell,
It really made me scared cause he broke it down well,
Never you forget about those angels undercover, or the..
Day when your good deeds are weighed against the others
Bad deeds brought together, then you discover
Your good deeds are just feathers, you start to shudder
Then- the- angels come nasty, ugly as ever,
Grab you by the forehead, and start to make you suffer
Hot, boiling water, Burning fire forever,
Waiting for a pause in the pain, but it be never ->
As I rode to my school, I told myself there ain’t no way I’m gonna be a fool,
And forget Allah’s rules.
Eyes on the prize, gonna stay wise,
As I go to class, socialize with the guys.
But whoa, look at the time, the next prayer’s in,
I’m here chillin’ - they’ll start staring
Slip to bathroom, find an empty classroom,
Don’t wanna miss a prayer here at school or even at home
Man it was a struggle, trying to be a Muslim and staying out of trouble,
The stress seemed double,
Even watching TV, I had have patrol,
Hands on remote control, just to save my soul
But deep in my heart yo I knew it,
I could really do it, If I pushed myself through it,
Living all my youth with Islam, see it only grew me stronger,
Withholding temptations for longer and longer,
But now it pays off, if the fire stays off,
Be chilling for eternity forever days off,
Got my book in right and my fate is looking well,
They put struggles of my youth on the good side of my scale
With the mercy of Allah, I won’t fail, Cause truly
Not a moment, not a moment did I want in Hell.
Cause not a moment, not a moment would I want in hell.

PARADISE MUST BE WON!!!

Every difficulty faced in our lives
Makes us realise that it’s just part of Allah’s plan
Feeling stronger we take it in our stride
He will always favour the patient one
While we spread the word of Islam
Every sigh, say goodbye
Every tear from my eye
Every yes, every no
Every high, every low

Spread the word O’ Man
Spread the word of Islam
Oh Fortunate One
PARADISE MUST BE WON!!!
Each Day and each night
Through Darkness and through Light
Cry it out to the World
Spread the Word
Spread the Word O’ Man, Spread the Word of Islam

We are the Muslim Ummah
And each day that goes by the harder we try
In gratitude we pray to Allah
Chosen as part of the best of Mankind
We spread the word of Islam
Each minute, Each Hour
In awe of His power
Each Flower, Each Tree
Everything that we see

Spread the word O’ Man
Spread the word Islam
Oh Fortunate One
PARADISE MUST BE WON!!!
Each Day and each night
Through Darkness and Light
Cry it out to the World
Spread the Word, Spread the Word
Spread the Word O’ Man, Spread the Word of Islam

Islam and Peace

People of the world
Do you know the truth about Islam?
Or do you think it’s bombing planes and killing innocent people?

Forget about the lies.
I’m here to tell you how it really is.
You deserve to know about this beautiful way of life.

People of the World, Islam is all about peace,
Terrorism, it doesn’t teach
It’s all about love and family and charity
And praying to one God…

It’s something you should know
I know its really helped me grow
It doesn’t agree with arrogance
And teaches us morality.

A perfect way to live
So don’t believe all you see and hear
Too many people wear the title of a Muslim
But they don’t practice Islam…

People of the World, Islam is all about peace,
Terrorism, it doesn’t teach
It’s all about love and family and charity
And praying to one God…

And it teaches us the creator has made
This life for us a test
And if we follow Truth and do good deeds
He’ll reward us in the next.

If we remember God and teach each other
The Truth and Patience
In this way, together we can
Live in peace.

This is Islam.

People of the World, Islam is all about peace,
Terrorism, it doesn’t teach
It’s all about love and family and charity
And praying to one God…

As Our Beloved Nabi Sallallahu-alaihi Wasallam
Lay On His Bed
Drops Of Perspiration
Fell From His Mubarak Head

In Agony And Pain
His Purpose He Did Not Forget
"has Everybody Offered Prayers?"
He Asked Instead

The Apostle Of Allah
Lifted The Curtain Of His Door At Dawn
His Mubarak Gaze Fixed At The Worshippers
He Smiled, Then Laughed, With Pleasure, This Morn

The Sahabah , Excited
Thaught He Was Coming Out For Prayers
But Our Beloved Prophet, Too Weak, Pulled Down The Curtain
Leaving The Sahabah In Tears

Too Weak To Lead The Night Prayers ,
Our Beloved,
Asked Hazrat Abu Bakr Instead
Heartbroken, Abubakr Declined, But Finally The Prayers, He Lead

The Prophet`s Beloved Wife Aisha
At His Bedside She Stayed
Wiping His Mubarak Face With Water
Whilst From The Quraan, She Continually Prayed

Nearing His End,
Our Beloved Had A Request
Pointing To A Miswaak
He Used It And Then, Went Back To Rest

In And Out Of Consciousness
Our Beloved Remained
Whilst His Dear Daughter Fatima
Wept Bitterly In Pain

With The Words Of Allah
Still On His Mubarak Lips
His Precious Life Began
To Slowly Slip

Too Frail To Talk
"say Your Prayers"
He Whispered
"care For Those Under You"
Then He Became Unconscious

On Regaining Consciousness
Ummati, Ummati, He Would Say
Then Peacefully And Silently
His Mubarak Life Was Taken Away

A Light That Once Shone
Was No Longer There
Sadness And Despondency
Spread Everywhere

Our Guiding Light
We Have Certainly Lost
But We Should Continue Spreading His Message
At Any And Every Cost!

Why shed these tears of sorrow?
Why shed these tears of grief?
Ya nafsy how soon you forget,
After trials come sweet relief

Why turn you from Ar-Rahman?
Why yearn for a listening friend?
Ya nafsy, do you not remember,
On ALLAH, you must depend?

Read you not those stories,
of the trials in days gone by,
Of the Sahabi beloved by Allah,
Who for Allah's cause did strive?

Why loosen your hold upon him?
Why fling away, His outstretched Hand?
Ya nafsy, do you not remember,
Bilal's sabr on the blazing sand?

"Ahad! Ahad!" He cried,
While his flesh did drip and burn.
"Ahad! Ahad!" He cried,
To Allah alone he turned.

Forget you the firmness of Hamza,
As the gleaming swords did fall?
With Sabr he turned to Allah,
as the qureish did slice and maul.

Why drown in salty teardrops?
How can you dare compare your pain?
To that of Yasir and Summayah,
As the lay tortured on the scorching plain?

Forget you the charring of Khabbab,
As on burning coals he lay?
Ya nafsy how meager your suffering,
Wherefore do you lose your way?

Why befriend you not Al-Wali?
Why not in Salat to Him complain?
Like Job who only to Allah,
Turned in all his grief and pain?

Forget you those trials in this life,
Cleanse your heart and make it clean?
Ya nafsy, why all this sadness?
Do you not wish your heart to gleam?

Be patient in all your hardships,
Allah hears your cries of woe.
So trust Him and His hikma,
For He knows best and you don't know.

So tighten your hold upon him,
Lest He withdraw His outstretched Hand!
And remember the example of Bilal,
As he lay anchored on the blazing sand.

"Ahad! Ahad!" he cried,
While his flesh did drip and burn.
"Ahad! Ahad!" he cried,
To Allah alone he turned.

That moment, that uncertainty,
That gush and wave of turmoil,
That stretch into eternity
Is gone. No need to toil.

The sea is calm, and no foam
Whitens, or shows its flow.
I restless no longer roam.
God has sent a light, a glow.

God light the future days
And give me strength to love and live,
And let this the changing phase
Be blessed. Pour thy blessings, give.

Upon us let thy favours flow
That we may in union be
In love to dwell, peace to know
In contentment rightly do, clearly see.
Guide us Allah, faith in thee.
