Some Duahs To Aid Concentration

Here are some short duahs which I have taken from another website some time ago, to Insha'allah aid the memory, I guess it'll be especially useful for those who are currently taking exams.

(a) Before Studying

* Alláhumma infa'ní bimá 'allamtaní wa `allimní má yanfa`uní
* Alláhumma inní as'aluka faHman-nabiyyín wa HifZal mursalín
al-muqarrabín
* Alláhumm aj`al lisání 'amíman bi dhikrika wa qalbí bi khashyatika
* Innaka 'alá má tashá'u qadír wa anta Hasbunalláhu wa ni`mal wakíl.

"Oh Allah! Make useful for me what you have taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me. Oh Allah! I ask You for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers, and those nearest to You. Oh Allah! Make my tongue full of Your remembrance, and my heart with consciousness of You. Indeed You do whatever You wish, and You are my Availer and Protector and the best of aid."

(b) After Studying

* Alláhumma inní astawdi`uka má qara'tu wa má hafiZtu. Faraddúhu
'alayya `inda Hájati ilayhi
* Innaka 'alá má tashá'u qadír wa anta Hasbí wa ni`mal wakíl.

"Oh Allah! I entrust You with what I have read and studied. Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. (Oh Allah!) Indeed You are able to do whatever You wish, and You are my Availer and Protector
and the best of aid."

(c) Whilst Studying Something Difficult

* Alláhumma lá sahla illá má ja`altahu sahlan
* Anta taj`alul Hazana idhá má shi'ta sahlá.

"Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what you have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy."

(d) For Anxiety

* Alláhumma inní a`údhu bika minal hammi wal-Huzni, wal-`ajzi
wal-kasali, wal-bukhli wal-jubni, wa dal`id dayni wa
ghalábatir rijál.

"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being oppressed by men."

(e) For Concentration

* Sallalláhu alá MuHammad wa áli MuHammad
* Alláhumma inní as'aluka yá mudhakkiral-khayri wa fá`ilahu
wal ámira bihí
* Dhakkirní má ansánihish-shaytán.

"Blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O Allah, I ask you, the One who mentions goodness, makes it happen and commands it, remind me of that which the Shaytan has made me forget."
