He lit me
Like a candle
And let me shine bright
When he left
I was out of light
I no longer could handle
Him not being there and
Not witnessing my smile…

He gave me wings
Like a butterfly
And let me fly high
When he left
My wings grew weak
I no longer could stand
His good-byes and
Not witnessing my smile...

He let me dream
Like a little girl
And live in this huge world
When he left
There were no more dreams
I no longer could see
Him taking care and
Not witnessing my last smile...

All of you make me feel so good about myself. That is why I love this place so much. You all are so awesome and respectful. I'm glad I got that history project because if I didn't, I probably would have never came here and met all you. I'll see if I have the ability to write you a poem. It will never measure up to how much I appreciate all of your wonderful comments and thoughtfulness, but thats all I got. lol
