Bro there are IT engineers in the haram who look after all the CCTV etc - you could work for them - dont know how easy it would be to get into though! There are also engineers who do the lights and electrical work - I know of many people who do this work!

To own a hotel/restraunt you need to have a Saudi Partner (who will take half of the profits!!!) before you can do business also all the saudi BIG BOYZ have got this area covered so very difficult!

that was brother abdul trying to be funny, its only a little joke :)

while having my 15 minutes break from the ever so annoying but helpful textbooks, i came acroos this thread which looks very intresting. mashallah its nice to see people aiming high!

well i wanted to be a......
potter
air hostess
vet
nurse
painter
writer
clothes designer

and after all of that i realised what i really wanted to do was help people. i wanted to work in a hospital but work with children (of special needs) so i thought why not work in the paediatric unit? plus my little niece is such an inspiration to me and she was a big part of my decision alhamdulilah.
bless her little cotton socks.... :)

i will mainly be going into the field of psychology, specialising in that and treating people with mental illnesses, i was also hoping to write a book exposing the islamic roots in psychology and introducing new ideas to the west.

And i will also be a part time husband and artist.

Asalamu Alaikum

My younger brother always dreams of joining the army and becoming a figher pilot. And then the imagination comes in.

"I'll turn the jet around and fly back into the base [or some other weird location]."
"But you'll die, and not a saheed..."
"Doh, what's the seat eject button for?"

Ok, sorry for the lame sarcasm.
