CANNIBALISM IS RIFE IN CHRISTIAN
EUROPEAN/AMERICAN HISTORY

White Europeans have been the most barbaric savages throughout history, complete with an unbeaten track record of cannibalism. This article provides, in chronological order, the major incidents of cannibalism throughout European history.

Setting the record straight:
Natives were not always cannibals

Cannibalism among non-Europeans has been greatly exaggerated by the the Spaniards and the British who wanted to justify the abhorrent practice of slavery by maligning their captives.

Cannibalism in Greece & Rome

The Spartans are perhaps among the earliest cannibals in recorded European history. They had the reputation of licking the blood of their enemies from their swords. Athenians also indulged in cannibalism during the Roman invasion.

Rome too has has its fair share of cannibalism. It was mostly practiced towards the end of the Roman empire.

Cannibalism is rampant in the Bible

The Bible, true to its nature of being the worst book ever written by humanity, contains enough passages that describe, even in some cases recomend cannibalism. This is clearly shown in the following verses taken from the crappy Bible:

"And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat."
- Leviticus 26:29

"I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another."
- Zechariah 11:9

"The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat."
- Lamentations 4:10

Crusaders cooked and ate Muslim children

The commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Kill", as this bizarre Christian practice of cannibalism shows, is applicable to the killing of Christians. For when it comes to killing the peaceful Muslims and Jews, the Christians claimed that it was their religious duty to do so.

No atrocity was too heinous for these savage Christian fanatics to commit. After every battle they would return to their camps with the heads of the Muslim dead on top of poles as trophies.

All that of course pales in comparison to the barbaric Christian practice of killing, and cooking men women and little children of the Moslems they conquered. In 1096 after invading the town of Marat, the Christian crusaders engaged in cannibalism and ate those who were killed in battle, including, women and babies.

"Our troops boiled pagan adults in cooking pots. They impaled children on spits and devoured them grilled."
- Radulph of Caen (Frankish chronicler )

White Settlers in Jamestown, VA, ate native Americans

Remember Pocahontas? Her father, Powhatan's tribe may have been the victims of cannibalism.

In keeping with the barbarism of their Christian predecessors in Europe, these white settlers of Jamestown, Virginia in 1610 were digging up the corpses of these native Americans and eating them up.

Cannibalism in Putin's Russia

As recently as 1996 ten people were charged with killing and eating other people. Police estimate that at least 30 people were eaten that year. However, this is not an isolated incident. Cannibalism has been quite a common practice in Russia recently.

I always knew that there was cannibalism in Old Europe, but are these sources authentic?

This is clearly shown in the following verses taken from the crappy Bible:
We musn't talk about the Bible in such a way, because there is still some truth in it even though much of it was distorted.

But seriously ... don't you think this is a very odd thread for an atheist to start in a Muslim forum? Especially if it's the very first post. What are Pikachu's motives, I wonder?

I suppose if this was written from a Christian perspective at that time, then Muslims would have been perceived as pagans ...:uhwhat

Same as Muslims in this forum refer to Christians as un-believers.
I sometimes feel like saying 'Hey, I'm not an un-believer, I'm a different-believer!':giggling:

-I think You wanted to say: "White Europeans were, are and for ever will be the most barbaric savages throughout history". Doesn't that sound better?

Who has said that it's alright to point the finger at Africans??? :?

The point people are making, is that Pikachu's post is written in a way ('is rampant', 'is rife', 'the barbaric Christian practice', 'quite common pratice') which gives the impression that cannibalism is/has been a common practice amongst Christians.

I don't think anybody is in denial here, but you can see by people's reaction that it is quite difficult to take such an exaggerated statement seriously.
As far as I can see nobody has denied that there is some truth in the original statements. Neither has anybody said 'Let's point the finger at African's instead ... they are much worse anyway' (Where do you get that idea from, Crystal?)

Clearly cannibalism is a horrible thing. I am sure most others would agree with me!

Peace.

LOL very funny

1 – None of those sources are reliable or even were written by any established scholars. In fact, some of those sources barley touch on the subject.

2 – To think that the consumption of the flesh and blood of Christ suggests that Christians where Cannibals is ridiculous.

I think this error in thinking is caused from the Age of Enlightenment, or the 18th century. In the 18th century, humans started to look at the world more rationally and logically. This was also, for the most part, the birth of science. A side effect of this “enlightenment,” it became harder to look at things as symbolic, including the bible. All of the sudden the bible took on a literal meaning. From looking at the bible and looking at how Catholics take communion as literal, one might conclude that if Christians eat the flesh and blood of Christ, then the ordinal followers of Christ probably actually consumed his blood and flesh. And that would be cannibalism. However, it should be looked at as symbolic.

Then again, I’m no scholar ether.

Hi Crystal4Peace

It seems that we both read each others post with our own interpretation and bias.

It seems that I have issues with the anti-Christian stance of Pikachus' post.

It seems that you have experienced racist white people in your own neighbourhood.

Those two view points are both valid, but are not really related. I talk about religious hatred, you talk about racial discrimination.
If Pikachu has posted this to cause division and tensions, let's not give him the satisfaction! :X
What do you think, sister? :thankyou:

Be in peace.
