Did Jordan or Egypt ever think about creating a Palestinian state when they owned the West Bank and Gaza Strip... nope. No one ever cared about the Palestinians until after they had no control over the territories.

Jordan became a country May 25, 1946.

Actually, I think Jordan became independent shortly after WW2. Egypt was already nominally independent after WW1 I believe. Either way, both countries fought Isreal in 1948.

The British mandate over Transjordan ended on 22 May 1946; on 25 May, the country became the independent Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan.

The information you provide to rebutle my arguments are completley false. Why don't you just decide to rewrite known history... If you didn't know about it... I guess it never happend. :heated:

Your logic makes absolutley zero sense.

If America controlled the Arab world... why did America not stop the Arabs from attacking Israel in 1948. If America 'controlled' Jordan and Egypt wouldn't they have just stopped them from attacking there ally?

Your points are making less and less sense (although you were right about the British general, although his position was rather less significant than you imply. The "army" was not led by Glubb, just the Jordanian Legion.)

Are you suggesting that it was therefore British policy that the (Trans)jordanians join the 1948 attack on Israel (with Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq), and that Jordan would not otherwise have done so?

Or indeed that Nasser in 1967 or Sadat in 1973 were 'controlled' by the Americans?!
