what would I do if I had 6 months to live?

If I had 6 months left to live,
Id Make the most of life, family and friends,
Go out all night, keep up with the trends,
I know im going to die,
So why not make it fun?
Hell, Why not plan a trip to sunbathe naked under the sun?

If I had 6 months to live,
Would I bow down to Allah?
Would I come to the conclusion
That fun is just an illusion,
I need to bow down to my Lord,
As to Him is my final abode,
And to Him will I return,
In 6 months,
as I have learned

Cinemas with my friends,
Getting it on with some girl/boy,
So many roads with so many bends,
I still havent realized that all of this is just a ploy
Im going to visit that club,
That I was never allowed to,
my parents wont stop me now,
they know im gonna die soon.
Gotta give it ma best shot,
To try out some of that dope,
I was living a sheltered life,
Always full of hope
Now I have my chance,
To take this glory and respect,
Before I die im gonna earn maself a name
Ill be full of fame,
In 6 months when I die

Aint nobody gonna be to blame
If you end up in the Fire,
Wanting some glory that feeds your vain desire
Life is just temporary,
Are you so blind to see?
Do you not realize, that Heaven/hell is for eternity?
Born in a Muslim home,
But still not on the Deen,
Out on the streets you wander and roam,
Not thinking about the Unseen
How can you blame others, when you yourself are at fault?
Living life like a miser, thinking you were some hot shot.
Well I lived a life of luxury,
I bowed down to my Lord,
Now I know I will return to Him soon,
I know for sure Heavens my final abode.
I tried to please Him in anyway I could do,
It was part of my daily routine,
After all He did create me, isnt bowing down something we really should do?

If I had 6 months, left to live,
Id visit my family and friends,
Id let them know I love them,
And I appreciate their being there for me in lifes many bends.
Id pray to my God,
To take my life as a Martyr,
Never was able to fight in His Path,
But always praying I dont earn His Wrath
For no body is worthy of pleasing except Him.

How funny it is,
Were both under the soil,
Oh what a difference between us cant you see?
I am seeing Heaven,
The smell is overwhelming,
And oh, how I pity you, yes I do.
You walked around, flirting and chasing,
While to those bearded or covered youd frown.
Well I was once frowned at by you,
And I prayed that youd see the Light.
But you didnt, oh you didnt,
You ignored the call and disobeyed,
Well what do you expect from a fool like you,
Who cant even bother to please His Lord and pray?
No ones to blame, but you yourself, for the punishment youll now endure.
Giving in to your whimsy desires,
Well what else did you think would happen my dear!
You are seeing Hell, oh how you are screaming,
I feel sorry, but then I think I must be dreaming.
For when someone saw you, it seemed as though youd never give in to death.
The macho look, the glamorous touch,
Oh how I turned around in shame.
You didnt think that you would die one day, and that happiness, them looks, would all fade away.
For now youre decaying, no one cares about you anymore,
Their going to cry for a week, a month, a year, maybe more?
But then theyll turn back, to their daily routines, and begin carrying on with life, living like a dream.
Just pray that they dont make the mistake that you did,
And ignore the Almighty and the Unseen.

What occurs in the grave, is indeed a hidden treasure that is Unseen. Be faithful, be sincere, and earn the pleasure of Allah, and surely, Heaven will be your Final Abode. Most of all, BE MUSLIM...

Subana-Allah

I wonder what i would do if i had only six months to live

I think i might stay in my room and cry to Allah to save me from the torment of the grave!

But its sooo easy to say what you would and would not do in a situation
If you're not in it.

awesome poem, Jazakallah sis, in this situation I think I would go home to see my parents to do Dawah to them and explain that if they will try they meet me again inshaallah and we will be together inshaallah then I would ask my husband bring me to Hajj in six months and worship in the mosques where Prophet s.a.w prayed. Uhh but it's hard to imagine

I think its normal in the sense that a lot of people dont reflect! Not saying directly to you bro, but its something to think about. are we too caught up in this world and thinking this life is permanent, or do we actually realise and recognise that this is just a journey, and tomorrow, we could be in a completely different world and state. if we look at it deep enough, we will fear death, not fearing death in itself, but fearing the punishment that follows death, if we've sinned.
