Assalamu 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
Ok this is another game which I thought of. I will think of a a famous Islamic figure past or present, and you guys try to guess who it is.
I will give you a few hints to try and help you guess InshaAllah.
You are only allowed one attempt to try and guess who it is. If you get it right you go next.
Ill go first InshaAllah
My kunya is Abu Mundhir. I witnessed the 'aqabah pledge and the battle of Badr. I am one of the most knowledgeable in the Quran. Many companions have narrated hadith from me. The Prophet, peace be upn him, once asked if he could read a surah to me and he did. On another occasion, I was also asked by the Prophet, peace be upon him, about the greatest verse in the Quran, and i answered it correctly. He hit my chest and praised me.

ok since you did not post a question, I will go again ;)
I am one of the earliest companions to embrace islam. As soon as i did, i was severly beaten by the people of Quraish until Al 'abbas bin abdulmutalib shielded me and interceded on my behalf. I was then commanded, by the Prophet, peace be upon hiim, to return to my tribe until i receive news that he has migrated to Madinah. In the meantime, I preached Isam to my people and half of my tribe immediately accepted the messege but the other half decided to wait until that they have to met with the Prophet, peace be upon him, first. All of them embraced Islam when we arrived in Madinah and so the Prophet, peace be upon him, prayed to Allah for mercy upon us. I witnessed all the battles with the Prophet, peace be upon him, except the battle of Bader.

My Name is Abdulah bin Qais bin harb. I was amongst the group that came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, after the opening of khaybar and he informed us that we had the reward of two hijrah, one to Anajashi and one to him, peace be upon him. He later sent Mu'adh and I to Yemen before Hajat al wada' (his last pilgrimage) and he ordered us to make things easy on people and not hard. I was made the Amir of Kufah and Basrah during the reign of Umar bin khattab.

My Kunya is Abu Ruqayah. I embraced Islam in 9 A.H. The Prophet, peace and be upon him, spoke of my experience on the minbar. I was very much in love with the Quran. I was once reciting Surat Al Jathiyah in night pray and when i came by verse 20, i couldnt stop weeping until dawn - repeating the verse over and over again. I also completed the Quran in seven days.

I am part of the Muhajireen. I witnessed the battle of badr and many other battles with the Prophet, peace be upon him. I made a terrible mistake once when i sent a letter to Quraish informing them of muslim plans. 'umar felt that i should be killed for this treachery but the Prophet, said: "You dont know 'umar, maybe Allah has looked down at the people of badr (mujahideen) and said..DO AS YOU PLEASE FOR ALLAH HAS FORGIVEN YOUR SINS"

here's another one:
Born in a Christian family, I migrated to Canada in my youth. I loved art and music, and was very social, quickly becoming very popular in the student movements there. I was very interested in politics and soon accepted socialism, and considered myself a Marxist-leninest. Soon, however, I began to see the flaws in this ideology and its inability to bring the change the west needed so badly. After a fellow socialist accepted islam, I began to study Islam and was fascinated by what I found. After some struggling, I soon accepted Islam and immersed myself in Islamic knowledge. Today, I am a well-known Islamic scholar, and have provided much knowledge for those Muslims living in North America.

Mine should be veryyyy easy.
I was a "dedicated Christian" and a good 'ole boy from Texas. I hated anything and everything about those "Mozlems",One day, I met a real Muslim and I wanted to 'convert' him to Christianity. But I soon learned there is lot more to Islam than I knew. The more that I learned about REAL ISLAM, the more I was surprised at the similarities. Then after the truth had come and I asked God to guide me. I took my Shahadah and soon after my Wife, father, Stepmother, and children accepted. I am now the Muslim Chaplin of North America....

I became a Muslim on the hands of at-Tufayl ibn Amr, the chieftain of the Daws tribe to which he belonged. When at-Tufayl returned to his village after meeting the Prophet peace be upon him and becoming a Muslim in the early years of his mission, I was one of the first to respond to his call. When at-Tufayl visited Makkah again, I accompanied him. There he had the honor and privilege of meeting the noble Prophet peace be upon him who asked me:
"What is your name?"
"Abdu Shams - Servant of a Sun," I replied.
"Instead, let it be Abdur-Rahman - the Servant of the Beneficent Lord," said the Prophet peace be upon him.
"Yes, Abdur-Rahman (it shall be) O Messenger of Allah," I replied.

I will insha Allah try to give a hint.
To narrow down ur search, he missed the battle of Badr, so now I think the search is down to only 2 or 3 sahabas and that is also from The Blessed Ten Companions. one more clue is, at the beginning, he also participated in the battle of jamal.
Now I guess u should be able to answer this one, insha Allah. :brother:

He was the greatest vazier of any islamic sultanet. First he served ghaznavid rulers(derived from Mahmud Ghaznavi's name) and then he served 2 great Seljuk Turks that is, Arap Arsalan, and Malik Shah I. He was killed by a Hashishain(group of nerds formed by Hasan bin Sabah).
I think this is engouh to help insha Allah. BEST OF LUCK.

He hit my chest and praised me.

ok, I'll do one since no one else is....
He was tall and extremely strong, his most outstanding quality was bravery. As the muslims invitation to others was difficult at the beginning, it needed powerful men to support it. For that reason, our Prophet Muhammad (saw) asked Allah to make Islam strong by the acceptance of Islam of one of two particular man. Allah responded to Muhammad (saw) by making this man accept Islam. It was an astonishing thing to happen and a reward to the muslims for their patience.
This is a really easy one.....

I'm a Mukhadhram who died in a foreign land and buried there, and the Prophet peace be upon him made salaat janaazah for me in Medinah, whilst I was being buried in my country. Who am I?
*Mukhadhram : someone who became a Muslim during the era of Muhammad peace be upon him, but did not ever meet him in person, unlike a Sahabi who is someone who became a Muslim during the era of the Prophet and met him in person

My father had a scar on his back that I could put my hand in when I was a child. Anyone mind if I put up a question?? seeing as this thread doesn't move really quickly
I was reading Qur'an when suddenly my horse bucked once, then twice, I feared it would trample my child so I stopped, when I approached the Prophet peace be upon him concerning this matter, he informed me that it was an angel listening to my recitation, and should I have continued reading, he would have revealed himself, Who am I?

this is my 1st time to post here
but try this Question
born at Ray, Iran, in (864-930 A.D.).i was interested in music but later on i learnt medicine, mathematics, astronomy, chemistry and philosophy from a student of Hunayn Ibn Ishaq, who was well versed in the ancient Greek, Persian and Indian systems of medicine and other subjects. i also studied under Ali Ibn Rabban. The practical experience gained at the well-known Muqtadari Hospital helped me in my chosen profession of medicine. At an early age i gained eminence as an expert in medicine and alchemy.

Well it was Imraan ibn Husein, he said he was on a travel when he had a wet dream and there was no water, and since he didn't know how to make Tayammum, he rolled around in the dust such. Then when he informed Rasulullah, Rasulullah told him, "verily it would have been enough if you just did this : and he hit his palms on the dust and wiped the right hand over the left and then wiped his face "
Ok someone bring the next question!!
