I am not sure about the war but Umar changed him to Abu Ubaydah bin Jarrah. Umar deposed Khalid because he didn't like how Khalid was sometimes brutal during wars. Yes the Mujahidiin won and I think it's the Conquest of Damascus.

Very well then :)

Question:

The year is 1260 CE, the islamic forces of mamluk egypt just defeated and halted the indomitable mongol tatar forces of Hulagu in the decisive battle of Ain Jalut. The mamluks were lead by the sultan Al muzzafar Saifadin Qutuz, the Mongols under Kitbuqa. After some days, Qutuz was assassinated. The question is, who is believed to have killed Qutuz. (Academically accepted)

If you need any hints, please do tell :) Good luck.

:sl:
Sis...we have to be so carefull in taking reference about Islamic history, cause everything in our dian, depend on the sanad. And talking about history, then the shia people have made thousands of hadith to make the face of sahabah looked ugly, so we have to be carefull. Take the history from famous ulama of salaf, such as Al Hafidh Ibn Katheer, Al qurthubi etc.
And about the replacement of Khalid Ibn Walid radhiallahu anhu , I remember that Umar ibn Khattab radhiallahu anhu changed Khalid NOT because he doesnt like the way he managed the army, or his brutality, not like that. But he changed Khalid cause he didnt want the army praised Khalid sooo much, cause every wars which leaded by Khalid always bring the brillians victory for Islam. So the calyph changed Khalid to protect the spirit of muslims soldiers. And to pressed the arrogant senses that might be came out from their heart. Allahu A'lam.
The companions, whose Allah have testified in Quran that theyre the one who have the best heart, theyre the best generation, and if someone have testimony from Allah then its impossible they will have brutality in their heart, keep that in mind.
Ok bro kultus, please give next question and dont take too long ;D or else I will ask next question again.

Look..no one giving the question right, so I will go next insha Allah.
Theres one sahabah, and he lead a war that make mujahidin have to cross a river. And this sahabah said "say: hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakiil", and then they crossed the river just like when they walk on the land. Or its said as if theyre walking on the land. Who is the sahabah and in which war?
