Shaikh Fahad Makki, an Aalim from Madinah Munawwarah was once saying:
Suppose there is a doctor working in a clinic. A patient comes to him in a very miserable condition. The doctor refuses to attend to his needs and excuses that he has to decorate his clinic, paint the doors, put a big board outside etc. The doctor has the means but still refuses to perform his duty...
Isn't the doctor oppressing (doing Zulm on) the patient?

Well, this zulm is temporary. The patient has to die one day or the other.

Now consider the present situation:
The non-Muslims all over the world who are dying without Faith are directly entering Fire. The Muslims have the means (i.e. Imaan) to save from the eternal Fire. Muslims were sent on earth as Khalifatullah. But instead of performing the duty of spreading the Message of Islam, the Muslims (in general) are engaged in the worldly affairs which can be compared as the doctor leaving his duty and decorating his clinic.
Aren't Muslims (in general) oppressing the non-Muslims by not guiding them away from the eternal Fire?

Now we can understand why Allah's help is not coming down. Allah's Help is always with the one Oppressed (Mazlum) and not the Oppressor (Zalim). And Muslims in general are oppressors and non-Muslims are being oppressed.
Getup and stop this oppression on non-Muslims so that Allah's help can be with us.

Such people were there even at the time of our Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam, like Abu Jahl, Abu Lahab etc.
We can be successful only if we did what our Prophet and the Sahabah did. We have to follow their footsteps and call people towards Islam in exactly the same way as the Sahabah.
Our Prophet (PBUH) even wrote letters to world leaders calling them towards Islam.
The need is to mobilize the Muslims all over the world and engage them in any sort of Da'wah work.
If we go through history, we see that Allah SubHanahu wa Ta'ala sent Prophets and Messengers one after the other. Allah Himself says in Surah Mu'minoon that to every nation He sent a Guide. All these Prophets and Messengers were given a fixed period of time. They used to call people towards Islam and when their mission was completed, after a fixed period of time, Allah saved the Believers alongwith the Messenger and Punishment was sent down on those who rejected.
This punishment could have been sent within a few days of the start of the Mission of the Prophets, because Allah already knew that no more than those few who have Believed will accept Islam. But this was not the case. Nooh 'Alaihis Salaam preached for 950 years. Similarly, other Prophets spent their lives calling people to Islam. Why the punishment was not sent earlier? Because the Message was not delivered to everyone.
Since the previous Prophets were sent only for a limited area and time, when they finished delivering the Message to them, Allah saved the Believers and rejecters of Truth were caught.
Our Prophet Sallallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam was sent for the whole of humanity. Now the Message has to reach each and every individual before we can expect Allah's punishment on the rejecters of Truth.

Therefore, this Ummah should stand up and engage itself in the work of Da'wah. There are various forms of Da'wah. In the least bit, displaying good Islamic characters to the non-Muslims is also a form silent Da'wah.
Indeed, Allah's help is already seen with those who are calling people towards Islam.

Another reason why Allah's help is not seen generally with the Muslims is that the Muslims (in general) nowadays are not eligible for it.
Allah says:
وكان حقا علينا نصر المؤمنين
"To help believers is ever incumbent upon Us. " Surah Ar-Room 30:47
Here Allah promises to the 'Mu'mineen', which means True Believers. But you will find very rare True Believers. The Muslims need to develop the qualities of True Believers as described in Surah Anfal, Surah Mu'minoon, etc.
In most of the places all over the world, its very difficult to differentiate between a Muslim and a non-Muslim. The Muslims have their own identity. We have our own culture.
Umar Radhiyallahu 'Anh said:
نحن قوم أعزنا الله بالإسلام فإن ابتغينا العزة بغيره أذلنا الله
We are the nation whom Allah has Honoured because of Islam. If we start seeking honour in anything other than Islam, Allah will surely humiliate us.

We have lost the quality of Imaan that Sahabah used to have.
Once a brother was saying, the condition of Muslims nowadays have become like football. Everyone kicks us from all the sides. If we were to ask the football why everyone kicks you, and if it could have replied, it would say that everyone kicks me because I am empty from inside. There is nothing except air inside.
If we fill the football with something as insignificant as sand, then anyone kicking it will break his own leg.
Similar is the case of Muslims. We are empty from inside. If we fill our hearts with Imaan, then we can stand as the Sahabah stood. No one can dare to challenge us and the Kuffar would tremble hearing our name, as was the case with Sahabah.

This is a call to Muslims all over the world to return to the Deen, stand up and engage in some sort of da'wah among Muslims as well as the non-Muslims.

Allah Ta'ala knows the Best
