I can't edit my posts yet...but what I meant to say was that I like to braid it..while he hates when I do it. However, I think he is a little too obsessed with his beard. It's ok that he brushes it, but the other day he took about 10 pictures from different angles of it LOL!!!

I'm close to twenty, not far off; I am attempting to grow a beard but my family isn't very "hairy," but I shave once every 2/3 months and I wait for that golden beacon of a shadow...but it never happens. :offended:

High insurance, too much rubble to clear, and very low demand because Lebanese men have some enviable beards; plus the fact that Lebanon is almost half Christian and very "modern," so beards aren't high priority.

Well, then, we can exclude the following:
-Japan
-most of far East Asia (from what Woodrow and Zulkiflim speak of)
-Latin America (American Indians are of Asian stock)
-...and much of Southern Africa Reply

:uuh: :uuh: how long is your chin hair?
Somebody told me that if you want to have sideburns ... you shave the area (even you have no hair at all at that part) several time .... and then it'll start to grow...
In Malaysian, there is some kind of lotion ... or cream... which I've forgot the name.... where many Asians use to make their facial or body hair grow.... many apply it on the chin, sideburns, and navel part ...going down to... ehemm!!! It works fast ... just within a month..

Well, I don't have a beard lol - but I know a woman that has one which would make most brothers feel envious :X
QUESTION: I am 25 year-old good-looking man. I don’t have satisfactory and strong moustache and beard. It’s growing but the rate is really slow as I’m 25 yrs old. The hair on my face is thin as compared to others and having blanks between them. Are there any homeopathic remedies for growing a strong beard and moustache?
Answer: This is probably a constitutional/genetic problem and there probably aren’t any remedies to correct this. You could have your hormone levels checked and corrected if these are abnormally low.

^i dunno is a virgin beard one that has never been shaved before?
well if i was a brother i would've counted and collected every chin hair i ever got (it's never to early to start now is it brothers?);D
but i like facial hair and beards (on men of course ;D ) it's very masculine...clean shaven men look too much like a 'chilli hui murghii' (skinned chicken):D
i remember when i was young my uncle had this nice long whiter than milk and shiny beard and whenever he would pick me up i'd always want to pull on his beard soo soo much but he would say no...now i'm too old but whenever i see him i still have the urge to just give it one big yank ;D
hehe i hope my husband has a beard...all that bearding and yanking sounds fun to mee:D
plus i've heard that research studies show that beards are a destressor for men..lucky!! what are the sistas supposed to do? pull on their hair?^o)

Alhamdullillah, I have a beard and I would like to share my views on it.
Can anyone verify this:(I heard it during Da'wah in mosque)
1.That with every beard hair, there is an angel
2.There is a Hadith(I can't quote as I heard this when I was 7 or 8 years in my school in Saudi Arabia that there was a man who had few beard hair and he once shaved them off. When he appeared near Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the Prophet turned his head away from that man.
3.Being inspired by that hadith, I knew that one day I will keep a beard when I start having a proper beard and ALhumdulillah some months back, I felt that I am doing the wrong thing everytime I shave. That hadith used to appear in my mind as a flashback that if I were in the times of Prophet PBUH, he would have turned his face from me. I pray to ALLAH SWT that now I never shave my beard.
4. Some weeks ago when Dr. Zakir Naik was in Birgmingham in the Islamic Conference, there was a small talk on "If the label shows the intent, wear it."
He was mentioning that normally one gets a lot of sawab from ALLAH SWT for supporting the beard but those people who have thin hair or dont get a thick beard(i hope you get what i am saying----fuzzy beard) will get twice as much more sawab than those who get a thick beard. I am also referring to brother Zulkiflim and Dahir that you are supporting the bearding to please ALLAH SWT so grow it regardless how it looks.
The other reason why I strongly believe a muslim should support a beard is to reveal our identity(trimmed moustaches and a beard) as Muslims. Having good deeds along with the identity makes a great combination!

The poll left off any option for those of us that do not have a beard for genetic reasons. There are us males of ethnic heritage that do not have facial hair.
Not everybody is blessed with the ability to grow a beard.

AsalamuAlaykum Warahmatullahi WAbarakatuh,
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "Anyone who shaves has no claim to the mercy of Allah"
- Reported by Ibn Abbas (R.A.) in Tibrabi
What does this say about the one who doesn't shave...in 66 years LOL dat was a funny one woody! :D
“So keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him as much as you can”
[al-Taghaabun 64:16]
“Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope”
[al-Baqarah 2:286]
Growing a beard is wajib (mandatory) for all males who are capable of doing so.
^^ The ruling : so you arn't really doing anything wrong, s'all cool..
All the best,
and congruts bro O.Fishman :)

..well iv been keeping mine for about six weeks now, first time iv actually made up my mind about it after a decade of shaving. usualy it starts feeling uncomfortable after a few weeks and i ended up shaving it, no problems this time and it feels great.
not sure what my parents will say when i get back home, my gran usualy starts havin a go at me if im unshaven for a few days, hopefully they'l be cool wit it.
anyways thought id share, intentions to get a fully fledged beard and keep it... wish me luck..trying to strengthen my imaan one step at a time.
insha'allah
