I am obligated to approve any thread that mentions Lithuania,

Nice thread. It would be interesting to see if we have any other members who have family ties with any of them.

What is the meaning of independence when they have actually planted the Western Culture in the heart of the people of the land that they ruled? In each land they leave behind Christianity. If it is not Christianity by religion it is by way of thinking, by actions that we do not realise

independence is a step forward for the people of my homeland. we shipped those imperialist home so that they can no longer cultivate their culture, and we can start an islamic life.

independence is not our destination, it is our tool toward a better thinking and a better acting people in a freedom.

Hmmmmm.... but I think our leaders (with reference to Malaysian leaders) are more 'Westernized' than our British colonials.
