Any websites/books/articles....that have details about the Islamic State...and the way in which it should be run. Because I would like to know how it worked....like the Economics/Criminal Law/Education....basically everything. It's an interesting topic.

Insha'allah someone can help me.

I am sure there are many books and websites out there dealing with the issue of Islamic state. However, I think the problem is that nowadays it is sometimes hard to separate the genuine authors from the phoney ones (because this is a matter of great importance, it cannot be written upon by whomever).

I think that it can't be covered in a lecture. But even if it is - a little bit of it is mentioned within the medinan period of the life of Muhammad sal Allaahu alayhi waSalam.

However, the reason why it cant be fitted into a small lecture is because all of the points you mentioned - they're a fiqh of their own, i.e. there's fiqh on trading/business, there's fiqh on criminal law, education respectively etc.

Hence - if you were to study these areas, you might want to go into the classical islamic books and try to understand from them (even though they might have some unneccessary stuff because times have changed.)

Like i've said in the past, and like you've thought to yourself too - you're probably gna have to;

1) Go to a course which is like al maghrib or something.

2) Learn like the ways of the sheikhs, which means - study arabic, and then go into the classical books to get a better understanding of islam.

Which means that arabic is really important, and also to be dedicated full time in these studies, even though you should do jobs like the 4 imaams did [i.e. a business [imam abu hanifah, imam malik], or working so you can earn money to keep up with your studying] [imam shaf'ie, ahmad]

I know it's a downfall, but these issues are more into depth than you might think. I was listening in a yasir qadhi lecture, and he said that the fiqh of business is a really big chapter, and these chapters may even be written in volumes. So full time dedication is needed throughout.

However - remember that if you keep your faith in Allaah Almighty, and do it purely for His sake. Then you will be rewarded insha'Allaah, and Allaah will make the path easier for you, as long as you remain steadfast and have sabr (patience etc.)

Allaah Almighty knows best.
