Holy Qur'an is My Name (Nice Poem and true)

I am a book in elegent prints,
To know my name, are some hints.
Rich in cover and nicely bound,
In hearts of muslims I am rarely found.

High on a shelf, I am kept,
Forgotten there, I am left.
With respect I do get lots of Kiss,
My main point is always what they miss.
In a melodious voice they recite me,
Neglecting the message inside me.
At time I am used for phony swear,
My true use is very very rare.

A miracle I am that can change the world.
All one has to do is understand my word.
I have wisdom I have Treasure,
So much is there is no Measure.
I am your savior, I am your guide,
but who is there to follow my bide.
Right from wrong is my fame,

Asalamu Alaikum

A very nice poem masha Allah.

There was scholar from Pakistan who gave a lecture, all about the Quraan. You would believe 3 hours is enough, but no, he had only just begun.

Here's a few things I remember:

Someone once asked a scholar (I think), what is the Quraan? They replied, it can be Hell, or Heaven. It can also be big, or small. The person asked if this could be explained. Quite simply, if you follow it, it is Heaven. If you don't, it is Hell. It is so small, it can be stored in the heart of a 8 year old. It can be so huge, it has memories of events thousands of years ago, and has also messages on things to come, things that exist beyond, you name it; a database unmatched.

Another thing was (I can't remember the exact ayahs' but) the Quraan has a voice of it's own. No other book revealed from Allah speaks for itself (Not sure?).

Ask the Quraan what it is, it'll tell you, 'Quraannun majeed', 'Quraanun hakeem'.

Ask the Quraan when it was revealed?
Who it was bought by?
Who it was brought onto?
What is it for?
It's audiance?
It's benefits?

And so on, it'll answer every question for you. Yet, how is it we fail to neglect a Kitaab so superior? May Allah guide us all insha Allah ameen.

(Anything wrong said, please do correct me. I am only human. It would be nice if someone could look up those questions and post appropiate replies with the Quraanic text.)
