Assalâmu alaykum (Peace be with you) you are cordially invited to a whole day fundraising and awareness event:

Unity

...in the community

An-Noor CentreSisters/ Masjid Al-HudaBrothers| Saturday 9th Sept, 2006 | All day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Abstract

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a single male and female and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other). Verily the most honourable of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)

Surah 49: 13

The words of Allah SWT inform us that we must unite and live as one race, accepting that there is one God and pray together as one Ummah. Allah sent this gift to each of the Prophets and finally gave it in completeness to Prophet Mohammad SAW. Every Prophet was united by a key aspect; in their submission to Allah above all else.

We come together today in the knowledge that Islam is in its very essence peacefulness, equality, and unity; and today in challenging times for the Muslim Ummah we discuss the value of UNITY, its purity, its sincerity, its honesty, and the value of justice and truth
