For how long are you planning to live on dates and water for? Days? Weeks? The whole month?

i did that because i jus wannid to copy RasoolAllah (sal Allah hu aleyhi wasalam) like properly, but if your doing it to lose weight then NO NO, because theres much better ways of losing weight, and you got have a balance of thins in your diet, to lose weight! so dont do it to lose weight, do it because you wanna copy RasoolAllah (sal Allah hu aleyhi wasallam)

remem we are rewarded for our intentions :D:D:D:D:D

well yeah i know and this is what i meant..... many ppl gain weight in ramadan instead of losing it but when following the sunnah of the prophet insha'allah tha wont happen and they'll stay healthy and help them not to think too much on food in ramadan but rather on the spiritual side of it

here...we even have it the frozen one. So it is like a ready made samosa...you just has to fry it when you want to eat it.

_______________

how much dates you want to eat? Do you think you can do it? ...you should try considering other healthy food as a backup.

Because i don't think our prophet eat more than 15 dates for breaking fast....
Won't you be hungry...cause we are not used to it... Unless you have been doing it for a whole year....then i guess you can do it.

Actually if you let yourself starving...you'll eat more than what you should eat. So becareful with what you are eating...

May Allah...fulfill your wish...

First, make sure your not doing it to just lose weight and you really wanna do it for the sake of Allah.

If your parents are against you doing it, just do it on odd days. Like every other day. Or, you can always just not tell them you are doing it.

If they keep saying no, just tell them its something youd like to try out for a while, just a 'mini experiment' with yourself. Tell them you're not so stupid that you would pruposefully try to starve yourself to death and its not like you wont be eating at all. You will still be eating dates and stuff.

Give it a go.
