Mashallah, Anwar Al Awlaki has such a great style- I learn so much from his talks. He is definitely one of my favourite speakers (alongside Muhammad As Shareef)

Its not bak up yet. However the links are working. One of the brothers posted this on another forum:
StreetDawah apologises for any inconvenience the brothers and sisters may have had when trying to access the site. The reason for it being temporaraly shut down is due to its intial up-loading, much of the material that was on there was not the full objective of StreetDawah
StreetDawah's main role is the preservation of maintaining the correct position concerning Allah ta 'ala's Oneness in Legislation "Tawheedul-Hakamiyyah", the battle between 'Irjaa and those who have left the Minhaaj of Ahlil-Sunnah Wal-Jama'aa in the Fikr of Kufr and Emaan, the exposure of Devient ideologies who are either leaning towards Kufr or those who have already left the Millah etc.
As StreetDawah hopes the brothers and sisters understand our position, once the site has been fully renovated the site will be up once as a vehicle to promote that which finds so many enemies.
Please make Du'aa for the sites success.

I havent been able to listen to much due to Ramadan :( I listened to Prophet Lut's part in the Lives of the Prophet and Subhanallah..the way he described then and how now, that filth (homosexuality) is open for the first time since the time of Lut a.s. and the parallel of how it is in the open in West and even accepted and the punishment for it, for a person and a society that promotes it as a whole. The evil cry, then Jibril lifting the earth and slamming it down over and then Allah sending a rain of burning brimestones.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The Hereafter Series
The Hereafter. In this series, the Imam vividly portrays the different phases the human soul passes through during its lifetime up to its death. In breathtaking style the listener hears of the events that occur just before death and the events that come after it. The Imam gives a clear description about life in the grave, the horrors of the last day, the major and minor signs leading to the last hour and the day of resurrection. The Imam crowns this eloquently narrated lecture with the process of accountability and recompense. On the Day of Judgment those who pass the test will be rewarded with Paradise and those who fail will be rewarded with Hellfire.

Lives of the Prophets
"The Lives of the Prophets" is a series of lectures delivered by Anwar Al-Awlaki. It is the first such series produced in the English language. The author has done extensive research in the original Arabic resources. The series is based primarily on Ibn Kathir¦s " Al-Bidayah wa-nihayah (The Beginning and the End)". Br. Al-Awlaki has done an excellent job of relying almost completely on the Quran, Hadith and statements of the Noble Companions.

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah dear brother
I have listened to a great deal of audio lectures, masha'Allah great are the ones i have heard so far. I have come across this lecturer, but have not heard him in great deal. i was wondering if you could summarise his lecturers for me. What is your opinion on his tone, delivery? i have read previsou pages, but they are not in the depth i require. Perhaps you could devise some kind of order for me in which to listen to the lectures of Imam Anwar. I view myself as still a beginner & insha'Allah am grateful for any help you give.
Jazakallahu khayran in advance

I think listening to them in the order of - Lives of the Prophets, then Seerah of the Messenger of Allaah, Muhammad (sal Allaahu alayhi waSalam), the life of Abu Bakr, Umar, and then the HereAfter Series.
My favourite two series were the Seerah and the HereAfter series though.
His lectures are really beneficial masha'Allaah, and i would strongly encourage you to listen to them.
He has more here aswell, you can listen to any at random because their only small 1hr khutbahs:

May Allah reward the sheikh and those who are sharing his speeches
I just posted this at another forum, i wanted to know what any of you thought about it..............
what do i think?
i think this whole copyright issue is a thing of the kuffar
did Allah copyright the quran?
did the Prophet copyright the hadith?
did the companions or any of our scholar copyright their work?
surely the spreading of truth is not to be copyrighted, how do you copyright haqq?
you asked what i think, those are my thoughts.........and if you say it cost money to produce these lectures, surely the sacrifice of the Prophets was more than the sacrifice of these companies and speakers, and they "asked no reward for their mission"
if these speakers are giving speeches for money, then they deserve none
if they are giving speeches for reward from Allah, then Allah will reward them
the whole idea of copyright is absurd

And his lectures are Unique, the series of Seerah, Abu Bakr, Umar are amazing! He implents into your heart (by the Permission of Allah) the love for these men and you find your self loving them soo much and appreciating what they did and who they were. I wish I had more time to just sit and listen to these!
Its not always that you find a scholor who is an awesome speaker, has alot of knowledge, and knows the society today so that when he teachs or talks about a certain issue, he can relate it to today and what is going on today. Alot are only elequent speakers or have knowledge but have no idea how to teach it. Imam Anwar can do both, he speaks awesome and he has alot of knowledge Mashallah and you can guarentee that what you are learning from is authentic. He simply doesnt use doubtful sources, much less weak.

Jazakallahu Khairan
I like his lectures too alhamdulillah i loved his seerah of the priophet (saws) and many other of his lectures.I learnt a lot from them. Sheikh Yusuf estes is Good too as one brother said. I got to meet him and sit with him recently, but as he himself says he is not a scholar he is a da'ee and a good one too. However Imam anwar Al awlaki is a great imam with lots of knowledge.Make duah for him as i think he is still in prison. Make duah that he is released soon and that we can benefit more from his knowledge. This is the sign of the times. when it is said in Hadeeth that when the advent of qiyama approaches Allah will take away the Knowledge, ti does not mean he will pull it out of the brains of those who are scholars. Many of the Great knowledgeable people and scholars are either dead, or locked up in prison. These are testing times for the ummah and we have to cling on the knowledge form Good scholars when ever we get the opportunity.:coolious:

I just posted this at another forum, i wanted to know what any of you thought about it..............
what do i think?
i think this whole copyright issue is a thing of the kuffar
did Allah copyright the quran?
did the Prophet copyright the hadith?
did the companions or any of our scholar copyright their work?
surely the spreading of truth is not to be copyrighted, how do you copyright haqq?
you asked what i think, those are my thoughts.........and if you say it cost money to produce these lectures, surely the sacrifice of the Prophets was more than the sacrifice of these companies and speakers, and they "asked no reward for their mission"
if these speakers are giving speeches for money, then they deserve none
if they are giving speeches for reward from Allah, then Allah will reward them
the whole idea of copyright is absurd
you are totally right brother.Knowledge of islam is Warathat al ambiya ( legacy of the Prophets) who can put copyright on that.

Sheikh Awlaki is in a prison at yemen. this prison has 8 floors of underground cells that are dark and scary. this prison practices torturing reguarly and our beloved sheikh is most likely being tortured. EVERYONE MAKE DUA FOR SHEIKH AWLAKI PLEASE AND FIND WAYS AND RIGHT TO CONDOLEZZA RICE AND OTHER YEMENI AUTHORITIES.
I LOVE HIS SPEECHES AND LECTURES, WALLAHI HE HAS TOUCHED MY HEART. PLEASE HELP SAVE HIM FROM THE YEMENI CELLS WHERE HE IS TORTURED
