Question:
Why can't god become a human being?

My answer:
It is important that when we speak about God we maintain a consistent understanding of God. If we do this, we will avoid confusion. For example, we believe that God is eternal as Allah SWT says:

112:2 Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

Therefore, if someone asks, "Can God die?" the answer is "No". Not because of any lack in His ability, but because it is impossible due to God's Divine nature. Remember that death is NOT an ability, but the inability to survive. Therefore, when you say, "Can God die?" you are not asking if God has the potential to do something, but rather you are asking if God is unable to continue to live. Death is not an ability, it is an inability. The Immortal can not die because it defies His attribute of Divinity. The All-Powerful cannot reduce His power (eg. by creating a rock too big for Him to lift) because that defies His attribute of being All-Powerful. The Omniscient cannot make Himself blind because that defies His attribute of being omniscience.

So God has divine attributes and He will never lose them. Divinity is the opposite from humanity. If God becomes a human being, this is a loss of divine attributes, threfore He is no longer God. So it is not that God is "unable" to become a human being, it is that it is impossible due to God's Divine nature.

And Allah knows best,
