Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alyhi Wasallam said:
``Perform your Salaath as you saw me Performing it,``
Every Muslim male or Female , is recommended to pray 12 Rakaá of sunnah Supererogotory prayers every day:Four if these Raáka before Zuhr prayers ,Two after it, two After Maghrib two After Isha and two before the Fajr.These Supererogatory prayers are called Rawatib which means Regular Supererogatory optional prayers.`´
The Prophet Sallallah Alyhi Wasallam said:
Observed these Optional prayers whereever he was at home.While Traveling, he used to perform the two Rak´at before the Fajr prayers and the Witr (Odd) Prayers (After the Isha Prayers).There is no harm to perform these Optional prayers in a mosque,But it is better to perform them at home,Because the
Prophet Muhammad SallallahuAlyhi Wasallam said:
``The best of man´s prayers is that which he performs at home except for the obligatory prayers.``
Performing these optional is a means for Gaining admission to Jannah.
The Prophet Sallallahu Alyhi Wasallam said:
He Who Performs optional twelve Rakaát every day and night, Allah Subhanaawatallah will Build for him a house in Jannah.
It is also advisable for the muslim to pray four optional Rakát before Asr prayers (2and 2) two before Maghrib Prayers ,and two before Isha prayer,Because this was Practiced by The Prophet Sallallahu Alyhi Wasallam .
Allah Subhanawatallah said:
Verily , you have the best example in the Messenger of Allah Subhanawatallah( Muhammad Sallallahu Alyhi Wasallam.(V 33.21)
And the Prophet SallallahuAlyhi Wasallam said:
Perform your sala´h as you saw me performing it
Its Allah whom we Ask to render us Succuesful and properous , and may He Exalt the Mention of our Bloved Prophet, Sallallahu Alyhi Wasallam, Son of Abdullah His Family His Companions and whoever Follows his Way Until the day of ResurrectionT
