salams bro, yes that's true, no one can be forced into Islam, but once you accept it, you're accepting that it's the truth, and the person who converts is informed of all what it entailes to become a Muslim.

So the penalty for leaving the religion is death, there's alot of reasons behind it, partly so people don't start playing around with religion and entering and exiting whenever they please just to enjoy the material benefits that come from becoming Muslim and then leaving it for no particular reason.

Also if someone is leaving due to doubt, then he is debated with till the apostate isn't able to make any reply. After which the penalty is exacted upon him.

take care all the best :)

thanks very much,
but in this case then not many muslims who leave islam should be executed because
1. most people dont get told by their parents whether they want to be muslim or not !!! they are defaulted to islam!im talking baout the ones who are born in muslim family (its the same in every country and religion most of the time they are defaulted and its hard to change !!!)
2.islam is not something u can inherite, so if you became muslim by default(means whithout reading about other religions and 100% knowing what islam and other religion are baout) and decided to leave islam later on will u still be executed???

salaamz,

I know that at first u have to be kind and teach them Islam for them to leave their kufr, then if they insist yes the death is THE punition to apply, coz yes as u said brother "lolwatever" they start playing arround and so on and by the same they are influencing the others to do so. Sorry have no link regarding that but try inshaAllah http://www.answering-christianity.com

its not about the fact that it harms others because even non-muslims can harm others (ibn sina/rushdie may Allah guide or destroy them)

Its about the betrayel to Allah swt.

Akhi I agree with you however if they r left they influence (but yeah as well those who call themselves muslims alias the unbelievers are playing a big part) and that what happened in Algeria and it's still hapenning, not just Algeria coz Saudi Arabia and Yemen are getting a kaffrah influence, by Allah these gov if they don't do anything they will b punished. Anyways earthquake became a routine in Algeria coz of their rejection of Islam.

what do you mean by defaulted bro?

It'st he parents responsibility to give their kids a good Islamic upbringing, kids are too young to figure things, it's like offering a kid whether he wants ot eat junk food to death or eat healthy foods...

When the kid becomes older, if he decides to apostate then he's classified as any other apostate and has the chance to debate before teh penalty is applied.

why do you have to read about other religions to be convicned about Islam :? It's a waste of time... but even if you do.. (for example this forum)... it's not hard to figure that Islam stands out.

take care salams :)

religion and islam is a big big subject people keep coming up with new issues there are plenty of book and stuff to be read if this is the case, because you dont want to take risk and later on find that you dont htink it was right acrtion !!! you could be learning something new which could change your life next day !!
so, how many years can someone have time to decide ???untill what age for example?!!?!?

^ btw... the reason why ur classfiied as apostate is becasue Allah gave you a blessing which is that you're born into a Muslimf amily and can learn for yoruself about Islam... and then you decide to throw that opportunity away without learnign about ur religion.

In majority if not all cases.. apostates decide to bail out becasue they don't know much about islam. so how would reading about other religiosn help if you dont even know about the religion ur born in to :?

I don't believe that, how about invite him to this forum to see the reality of your claim for ourselves?

It's easy for you to be duped into thinking he's knowledgeable about Islam because you don't have any knowledge of it yoruself, so i don't blame you if you got fooled into it... and as if apostates would claim they're ignorant lol.

If he is as knowledgabel as you claim... im sure he wont mind telling us why w'ere all so wrong and silly for beign Muslims.

Exaclty, so that answers your queston isn't it :)

Obviously for them to want to leave Islam is because of some perception they have or understanding that they've formed... Therefore they need to learn about their initial religion and problems before they see bailing out a solution.

are you sure that those one who didnt had chance to make decision openly or it was too earlier for their age etc, will still be executed???
thanks
The above answered it :)
