I have the black and white one, there are noone like it here, a brother got it over from egypt and gave me it!!

In south london there are many places:

Lewisham Masjid
Croydon Masjid
The Shop In Tooting near the Islamic Center thing
Zainab Bookshop in Thornton Heath

And others, but they just have the black and white, no paletine writing on it. And the materials of the ones I seen is pretty light.

Well Am just wondering.

Actually I don't know what I was thinking about but I thought that it might show your shape, but I dont know what I was on about, maybe I was thinking of showing the neck or something.

I mean I guess it depends how it's worn.

It was more of me telling the sister tasmi... and Haji not to wear them, not because its haram as I said I dont know why I even though women might not be allowed them. So am not saying its haram, am jus saying to the two sisters.

From what I know, I dont see any Islamic reason that you cant wear it if it covers u properly, I just didnt want u to wear it lol. Am being mean today, I dont know I dont see much point in you wearing it, though its totally your choice. Ok.

Finito.

Why is the palestinian khafiya worn by a lot of non-palestinian muslims nowadays? Is it to show support for the people of palestine. If so, aren't there other ways of showing them support? Personally, I'd never wear it, as I'm not palestinian.

Actually, who actually said its just palestinian?

Some people in my country, non-muslim, soldiers wear it too. Im just talkin about the normal blak and white ones not the ones with palestine on them. And yes sis Bintu, I think sis tasmiya got the joke, i hope lol.

The fact that everyone's wearing a khafiyah, puts me off wearing one. I remember Yassir Arafat, rahimahullah, used to wear one on his head.

For the Brothers,

In my opinion if we wear them around are neck that is the same as wearing a necktie or ascot. Remember it was only in the past 100 years or so a necktie became slender, before that they looked like scarves.
