There you have it folkes! The president of Sudan who supports the Janjaweed militia to help kill black muslims in Darfur is claiming the genocide is not occuring and the Israelis are making it up and creating a conspiracy!!!!

^o) Hmmm... I guess all those Blacks who fled there villages because Arabs were charging trying to kill them made it all up! Just decided one day to leave there whole lives behind!

Darfur is obviously all Israels fault as the mastermind behind the genocide of Darfurs people suggests. (Can you not sense my sarcasm)?? :okay:

Do you think if I blamed Israel for the cause of me getting into a car accident, I could win the lawsuit? I mean they cause the whole world so much stress, they must be responsible for everything!

This would be a bit funny if it wasnt true (the genocide/killings). I dont know the exact number, it could be 9,000 like the Sudan President claimed or it could be 250,000 like Western media claims. But the ones responsible for the killings are that militia thugs who need to be stopped.

Btw, I think the Sudanese President was blaming Israel for exaggerating the killings, not doing the killings.

Your fellow Muslims are dieing because Rascist pig Arab Muslims are killing them, and the man responsible is baling it on the Jews???? Israeli organizations which aim to prevent the holocaust from ever happening again have gievn millions to darfur to help with aid and food.

Sick! Sudan had some wicked sick politics before this statement, but this puts the nail in the coffin.

And by the way, both sides are African, the Janjaweed and their victims, its just that the Janjaweed have adopted an Arab lifestyle and that leads them to strange places, I guess...

This conflict must be stopped at any cost, but every time the African Union comes to the tables, bigger issues surface.

This time, the AU is putting its efforts into the conflict in Somalia, a local conflict that could escalate into all-out war involving every nation and regional militia in East Africa.

Message still stands, Darfur MUST be dealt with.

I think there is no doubt that these killings will come from all people, including other "muslims". The ones that are killing in Sudan are not true mummeens (believers), Egypt and other so-called muslims states detain believers because they preech the religion. So I am not ashamed in admitting that some so-called muslims are our enemies as well. At the end of the day I know that they are PUPPETS of a certain country.

I would love to pass judgement, but I don't have enough knowledge about the conflict in Darfur. I have not witnessed any massacres.

It's not hard for me to believe that the West has an agenda in oil-rich Sudan. It's funny how the West publicize some wars and leave others forgotten.

Also, the West could have meddled in Sudan's internal affairs and encouraged the people of Darfur to rebel against their government (which is what I think probably happened). When the people rebel against their leader, what is the leader supposed to do but punish them? I believe in democracy but I think that it is wrong to rebel against you leader. What do you think Tony Blair would do if his 10 Dow St was being attacked by 500+ armed people? Just stay put and surrender?

It's not hard to believe that the West destroys countries. We have seen it time and time again. If it weren't for the West we would have a chaliph, but they destroyed the Ottomon Empire.

Also, this whole Arabs against Africans thing is ridiculous because ALL Sudanis are Africans.

Just a minor point, but the Ottoman Empire was already in decline when it chose the wrong side during WWI. A question though, are you suggesting that the genocide in Darfur is the fault of the U.S? Perhaps I misread your post.

The British used Lawerence of Arabia to encourage the Arabs to revolt against the Ottomon Turks. They used the divide, conquer and rule method on the Muslims. They convinced the Arabs that they were far too noble to be ruled by Turks, so they fought against their chaliph, with aid of the British. The West saw Muslims united under one chaliph and one law as a threat. They still do actually, and that why they hate Hizbu Tahrir for e.g. Anyway, Muslims let Nationalism get in the way of their brotherhood (and sisterhood) again, just as they had done during their rule of Spain. When muslims become disunited they lose power, like they did in Spain after an 800 year reign.

The US is probably indirectly to blame for the situation in Darfur. They obviously can't be to blame entirely.

If I remember correctly, during last summer, the Islamic party of Somalia was fighting against some militia men. There was apparently some intense fighting. The US urged both sides to end the fighting immediately. Ironically, it was revealed that the militia men were being funded and armed by the US lol Talk about starting a fire, adding fuel to it and then stepping back from it. :rollseyes

I didn't advocate the killing of anyone. What I'm saying is that any government would take certain measures to keep their citizens in check/line. "Punishment" does not mean killing. Also, who's to say that rebels from Darfur didn't begin attacking the government first, which caused the government to retaliate. As I said, I don't know much about the Darfur problem. Allah knows best. There are two sides to every story, not just the picture painted by the media. :rollseyes

If there hadn't been publicity in the West, we wouldn't be having this discussion. It funny, though, that so many people seem quite happy to 'publicize' the Palestinian conflict while ignoring Darfur.

I can only suggest that you at least find out a little about what is happening in Darfur. Nobody rebelled against the government. It is essentially a tribal conflict (both sides being predominantly muslim) with the government backing one side - including with military force- something they still continue to deny despite all the evidence to the contrary.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with the United States, however inconvienient that may happen to be for those who dislike the United States.

I thought that fighting in Darfur was between Sudani soldiers and armed Darfurian men. Yet, I have come to know that it is between a tribe called the Janjaweed, suppported by the government, and Darfurians. The terrible thing is that the Janjaweed apparently harm unarmed civilians, which is against Islam. In Islam, you aren't even allowed to burn down trees whilst fighting wars. In this day and age there is no designated battleground, and everybody is a target.

The Sudanese president is heinous! He is using an age old trick: Just pretend it isn't happening, and it's not your problem. He probably doesn't want to deal with the issue, or have it mar his term as pres. It is much like the holocaust against the jews. There were those who would just as soon pretend it never happened, and those who would say it happened, but not as badly as it is told.

It is really, really sad for me to hear that one brother kills another. It hurts me that my own people, people of my country, faiths similar to mine, would support and join in our "War on Terror (More like war OF terror.)" To hear that a Muslim, would commit such a sin on another Muslim...what does the world come to when people can't be pure in their actions towards thier kin?

The Jews did it? Maybe I could begin to believe that if I didn't know that they were aiding Darfur.

The Sudanese president should be brought up on charges of genocide. His blatant ignorace of the issue makes him complicit.

Lets not forget that it is not just the West making an issue out of this. In fact, overall I think the interest for the conflict is way too low in the Western press. Considering the scale of the conflict I believe the press should really spend much more time on it.

Especially the UN and the secretary general Kofi Annan have pleaded for more action on the Darfur issue.

Of course, :rollseyes Blacks in the Darfur region have decided to leave all of their towns and beg for food in refugee camps to help make this "conspiracy" believable. To make it even more dramatic, they burnt down all there possesions and killed 1/4 of their village members to make it seem like the Arab Janjaweed who are supported by the Gov of Sudan and are really nice poeple *coughSarcatsticcough* to try and frame them... :rollseyes

I would love to see if you could look this mother in the eye and tell her it is all fake... that the people who killed her friends and family are just made up... that she is leaving her whole life to beg for food in a camp to help Israel and there "conspiracies"...

I wonder if you could say that to her face...

The USA are probably could be very afriad that intervention in another Muslim country could result in more terrorism directed towards them. Are you not aware they Sudan was and still is a place they openly harbored Osama Bin-Laden and his group Al-Queda. Are you not aware that many Arab Muslims throughout the middle east would go insane if US troops went into another Islamic country?

A perfect example of Arab muslims lack of support of any protection for the blacks in Darfur is the opinion of Lybia's president, a very popular opinion in the Islamic/Arab world that UN troops protecting black Darfurians are worse then Sudans Arab militias continuing genocide.

The UN is still in Lebanon condemning Israel every time they even come close to breaking the terms of the cease fire, while they continue to allowe Hezbollah to arm and break basically all aspects of their end of the cease fire.

Actually it is a little more difficult for the UN to get involved in this area of the world. The regional governments are resistant to the idea of the UN poking around, and the UN also has to try to avoid stepping on the toes of the AU (African Union).
